Our incredible trainer who trains dogs for the Navy SEALS taught us to use this for positive reinforcement using the beep feature. An absolute game changer. We use the beep to mark now and then a Kong to reinforce. Awesome tool.

I have been working on training my dog on a fairly large piece of property and having a large range transmitter/receiver was important. This seems to be a very robust training device that is well built for any environmental condition. While I only have one dog now, I plan to get another in a few months and this will be preferred to have them both on one training remote. There is a pond on the training property and the dogs will be in the water, so it was important that the collars were water resistant. The collars seem well built and strong enough to withstand puppy abuse. I do like that they provide multiple posts depending on the breed you may have to switch out posts to get through their coat. These collars and remote appear to be well made and of good quality. This would warrant the higher price asked for these collars. You can certainly get a cheaper set, but the range, durability and options will certainly be reflected in the price. This is an investment in these training devices, but so far, they have functioned as they should and I have had no issues with them so far.

I bought this for a Husky I … “rescued”. Worst decision ever, but since I took the responsibility, I feel I have to continue training her and not give up. The beeper mode worked very well for her. However, after going through obedience classes and collar training, eight months with this dog, she attacked a small poodle yesterday. So before I try to rehome her, last ditch effort, I’m going to try the shock mode. Great device!

I have been using cheap e-collars for 4 years and decided to go to a better quality collar since I now have a Belgian Malinois. The only issue is the vibration could be a bit stronger, however, my dog responds to the vibration as a recall practice. If she is excited she sometimes ignores the vibration and I have to go to correction to get her attention. I do not have to go past 6-8 for standard training, but for correction I go to 12 or 15 and it gets her attention very quickly. The product is very easy to set up. Be sure to cut off any excess collar as some dogs may chew it up.

First, I want to say that this system is only collars and a remote. There is no invisible fence. That is a different product completely. This is a tool that you control using a remote where you can send the collar a signal/sound, a vibration or a light electric shock. Nothing will operate the features of the collar but the remote control. This particular collar system does not have automatic operations for barking like some collars. The range is the distance recommended between the collar and the remote in order to provide the highest degree of confidence in operation. It does not mean the collar will signal automatically when the dog reaches the range limit.

I have two chihuahua's who used to bark at everything from the tree branches swaying in the wind to a lizard on the window. I bought e-collars meant for large breeds to help mitigate their bad behavior. They looked ridiculous on my dogs almost looked like it weighs them down, but boy let me tell you. I attached these collars around their little necks cranked up the shocker to 99 and pressed the glorious bolt button down on my controller for around 5 seconds after the first time they started their annoying barking ritual and wow!!! To my shock (pun intended) they immediately stopped barking and jumped up in the air about three feet they ran whimpering back to their beds. No more barking, no more crying, no more anything. They are such good babies now they lay in their beds all day I haven't had to say no not once in the past week. I do occasionally press they bolt button randomly just to let they know who's boss, I think they are beginning to like it because now when I press it they start play fighting with each other viciously it's adorable. I love my shock collars and will now buy one for my cat and parrot. I think it's the best tool you can have as a pet owner to show dominance. Don't be afraid of shock collars they don't hurt your pets they just shock them kind of like when you hide behind a door and pop out on your wife...
