Salvation is in the name of Jesus only not father son and holy ghost according to Acts 2:38. Jesus said in Luke 10:16 He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me. Now dear brothers and sisters. All you have to do now is to go and read up on what the apostles said and take what they said. If you believe what the apostles said then you are taking what Jesus said. Don’t make God’s plan for salvation hard. I too had to drop my thoughts and stay with God’s word which was given to me through his apostles word. Your eternal soul depends on what you are now reading right now.

The Lord, gave that word decade to my 5 year old granddaughter when 2020 hit she kept hearing him say the word decade decade decade and he kept saying it, and she said ok Jesus will you stop saying that. You keep saying decade decade. It was as if Jesus kept saying it to her until I caught on and understood what he was saying. Jesus spoke through a 5 year to let me know we had enter into a new decade, a new Era, the roaring 20s and believe me they been roaring every since. I'll never forget get that January 2nd 2020. My granddaughter was talking to Jesus that morning jumping in the bed, when she heard the voice of the Lord talking to her. What was funny to me is when the Lord first started talking to her, she says, what I can't hardly hear you, and she said, what talk louder, and it was funny, she said not that loud. I knew she was hearing from God. While I'm writing this, parents allow your children or grands, to learn how to talk with the Lord, in there own little innocent way, yes you help them, but don't be so religious with it. She wasn't doing nothing deep just asking Jesus about his name and then the Lord gave her the word decade a word she never heard of nor knew what that word meant. And now she's nine years old soon will be 10 and was filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues a couple of weeks ago. Hallelujah and Amen

Did we just really have an opening commentary from what "gospel convocation analyst"? I'm 53, born into COGIC. I was in the church before I was in the world thanks to my mother tarrying for the Holy Ghost. I come on here to just hear a word, and that's the 1st thing I see. Commentators? Is this a sporting event or some worldly convention or awards show? I thought it was supposed to be "A HOLY Convocation". Please tell me the difference between this and the world, besides giving the Word of Truth that is Jesus Christ. Where do we differ? Weren't we supposed to be a peculiar people, ones set aside from the world and as the world does? So why do we keep looking like them every day? Tell the brother I can almost count the coins in his pockets. THIS is what we are showing the world who we are? What C.O.G.I.C, THEE Church of God in Christ is? What Bishop Charles Harrison Mason founded in 1907? THIS is what we bring before God as an offering of praise, worship and sacrifice? As a whole? Guess we haven't learned much from our Israelite brother's and sister's journey. Maybe I'm wrong and out of pocket. Maybe I'm just stuck in the ol ways of worship and not glorifying traditions. Maybe the enemy is planting seeds with this comment, and I should have not said a word. But if you're reading this, for one reason or another, (enemy initiated it, and God allowed it or God ordained it) it'll be for Gods glory in the end. As everything happens for a reason. That reason is His plan.
