Warning for owners of this scope (SDS1104X-E or SDS1204X-E) that use the wifi option (this is an option for which you have to pay): you may not want to update to firmware version 6.1.37R2, because this version breaks the wifi function. You can read more about this issue on the EEVblog forum in a thread called "Siglent SDS1104X-E and SDS1204X-E Mixed Signal Oscilloscopes", page 81 and further.

No problem. New firmware was released 27th of October, and the Wifi-issue is fixed.

Thank you, I havent updated mine yet, no reason that I can find yet but also Im always a little worried about exactly what is going to happen so its great to actually see a real upgrade so I know what to expect and how long each step might take. Feel must more confident about it now thank you

I'd say after an update and when the seasons change. Temperature and humidity might impact the signals
