Thank you for this video, Sharmin. It is really good to have a starter vid. I have tried using the uk Floetrol for the activator and it doesn’t really work.. in uk I have had to buy 500ml Aussie Floetrol at £23 or so, so that is the expensive part. I have been using pea glue + water to mix the paints, which works well, but that pricey Aussie stuff!!!

So I understand some are pour on snd some are not. I’m confused. Your painting was lovely did a fabulous job as always very inspiring.

Above you stated "US cell activator: Proportion of US Floetrol, paint, glue all and Minwax wood conditioner is 4:2:2:1". What is the paint you are referring to? Is it the Amsterdam black? Is this an alternative C.A. recipe? You didnt use any PM recipe in this video so I figure it must be the C.A. is that correct? Then you said you use "8 parts Glidden white paint for your base",but what do you mean by a part,what measurement is that? Thank you Sharmin
@MilkywayArtDesignBySharminKhan

That's perfect. I started pouring in 2017, had a two year break because of house move, then had to relearn. I have bought so much stuff when I see new ideas, plus of course things I want to try but this particular technique, the whole bloom bit has been a real struggle. I'm getting there, having fun but consistency is a big issue. I've had base crack, even when I do thin layers, and other times it's been fine. I cannot get gac800 in UK, it's always out of stock! It's been on my list since I started, things I'd like to try. I now have ordered from US and should be here end of month 🙂 I also couldn't believe that Australian flotrol would be so different to UK flotrol but it is. Same thing with paint, my usual white and black, no cells, with the Amsterdam brand though it's perfect. I so wish someone had done a video like this when I started, to make it simpler and cheaper to try. Then once confidence is gained it's easier to try adding other things. Love your work.

The Prizm Pour should be mixed with your pouring medium. Per Leslie at Colour Arte told me yesterday that these should not be used right out of the bottle. That is the new directions she is sending out with all of the Prizm Pour sets! Just wanted to let you know. Hope all is well Sharman. The Blooms are Beautiful.

Thanks Teri, but from my experience, not all of them have the same consistency. Some of them needs to be mixed, while others don't. You have to test them out yourself.
