I’m a 100% service connected Veteran and can’t even get the dental clinic in Decatur to answer the telephone to schedule an appointment. This is totally unacceptable!

I left an email message with patient Advocate through myhealthevet regarding dental not answering damn phones and dental called me to schedule an appointment

The staff shortages and delays are because of the ridiculous VA vax mandates which as we know now did NOT stop the spread of infection and has also caused serious heart conditions and strokes in a lot of people that took it. Smart health workers knew all of this back then and want nothing to do with being forced to take this Big Pharma nightmare. So they no longer consider the VA for employment, which has sadly affected staffing at VA Hospitals.

I'm 100% permeant total disabled veteran. My primary care doctor at the Atlanta VA refuses to grant me community care he just schedules more useless appointments that I wait months for. I finally got to the breaking point from severe chronic pain and got private health insurance. Gwinnett Northside is taking up the slack from Atlanta VA and I'm finally receiving treatment for my issues. Tried going thru patient advocate, veterans crisis line, VA OIG and it only seemed to make matters worse. Good luck going there for treatment.

Go to Chattanooga VA as they are very good, organized, and do not have to wait 72 days for an appointment. If possible try to travel there.

Veterans and VA employees are stressed out. Its the upper management and directors and executives that are the problem. They can model after the hospitals that are doing good

DC VA called my husband a peckerwood in radiology 🤣 👍 lived here for 2 years still haven’t had an ounce of medical care. 🖕 don’t waste ur time get community care 🙄

If you're husband has been rated permanently disabled and medically retired by the Department of Defense, I think he may be able to use Tricare for retirees. I use it when I have to; I don't have to pay monthly deductibles.
