Isn’t his name Glynn Thurman not Taylor? The gentleman who played colonel Taylor. I think that’s what she meant to say. Loved that show many memories of watching every Thursday night.❤

That was a magical time for the black community. That was before gangsta rap and gangsta thug life really took a strangle hold on the black community. The Cosby show, A Different World, Living Single, ROC, In Living Color, New York Undercover, Moesha, The Robert Townsend show, a multitude of wonderful black movies that are classics to this day, the rise of black politicians and community activists, the increased student enrollment in HSBUs, quality black music without cursing etc, etc. Gangsta rap and gangsta thug life ushered in an era of black community devolution that the black community is still trying to recover from.

I really wish they would come out here for some of the black students in California especially in the Bay Area like San Francisco because it is so much needed. They need to know that they are a part of this culture as well because a lot of them have been taught differently. Please come to the community colleges in every County and come to some of the big universities like Berkeley, Sacramento State, and San Francisco State.-Kwaufi Nino
