They're claiming that because she rejected the plea and took it to trial, she's being penalized with a much heftier sentence? Are you kidding? That's how it works, otherwise, everyone would take it to trial.

The people in this comment section who say they are happy with her sentence have never spent a day in prison nor could they survive. They speak out of emotions and not a well rounded perspective which takes life experiences. And the max sentence for any crime should never exceed 10 years. If you can’t reform someone is 10 years then the system is clearly broken and only about making money, not about making better citizens when they come out.

Do you feel the same way about catholic priests sexually assaulting children??🤔 I have as of yet to see one arrested, serving a jail sentence or really being "exposed." This is the American justice system. Rapists and child molesters should receive 30 years or better in prison...not crimes like hers. Then again, if you're white and male...you probably don't agree with me. Lol. Come on bruh...didn't Whitney say ..."our children are the future."😊

I cant believe this one ,a preacher of color had a great opportunity and a position working for the city could be so foolish cant trust anyone these day's. Then the one man says we cant cage people the max because no one was hurt or killed. This is the reason why or system doesn't work soft on sentencing. This is why our prisons are over crowded the same criminals go in and out of jail over and over they know the punishment is not serious. Its a game to them away of life a cultural that no one should be proud of. Waste of taxpayers money.

Just wondering - when the prosecutor asks for ½ of the time - Do they realize the finacial disruption she caused the community, the businesses and their employees (by extention) she destroyed, and the companies that she did milk out of millions (during troubling times, and lay-offs). How many millions these companies had to pay - in the interest of - keeping up w payroll, employees and their families (that depend on that work). When you force companies to Pay to Play - you are literally destroying the community.

But you you can’t live your life at your own free will when called to do a specific work for the lord…..None of us are perfect, and I get it. But when you are called to be a minister, preacher, pastor, apostle, etc you have to set examples. God probably warned her before all of this happened but she just didn’t take heed.
