The people in this comment section who say they are happy with her sentence have never spent a day in prison nor could they survive. They speak out of emotions and not a well rounded perspective which takes life experiences. And the max sentence for any crime should never exceed 10 years. If you can’t reform someone is 10 years then the system is clearly broken and only about making money, not about making better citizens when they come out.

@@imaninternettroll1660 bickers and kasim reed and the other libs like the mayor and the soros DA in fulton county are also the ones who are not only corrupt themselves while committing "white collar" crimes--but they are the same idiots that are letting the murderes out of prison.I think Atl has like 3 dozen murderers who are out on bail as we speak and each week that goes by one or more of them commits another crime--and against who do they commit the crimes against--the liberal minority community that keeps voting for this whole corrupt system. No other parts of GA--red areas--have even 1/100th the crime ATL does and in my red city in our 130 year history no cop has ever killed a black and last black to get murdered 3 years ago was by another black.

This is the stage where the lengthy sentence is announced and everyone feels good. The next stage, where the sentence is modified down to a few months, is not quite as widely publicized.

Oh well she’s getting what she deserves! I’m sick of corrupt politics. I’m glad that the judge is sentencing her. It should be longer and these politicians don’t deserve plea deals.

Why they don’t take them into custody immediately and start serving time? It gives them an opportunity to take and “check out” early .

She committed treason and now it is going to cost the citizens around $100,000 a year to house her in prison. Which is preposterous because there are a great deal of small struggling families of four scraping by on $30,000 a year or less.

@@3degreesofknowledge721 can’t mock or play with God either. I assume that she was called to do the Will of GOD because she is a pastor. But you you can’t live your life at your own free will when called to do a specific work for the lord…..None of us are perfect, and I get it. But when you are called to be a minister, preacher, pastor, apostle, etc you have to set examples. God probably warned her before all of this happened but she just didn’t take heed. My prayers are with her though.
