LX. Love my Control+. I started with the DBD after trying all of my friends paddles. A friend said the Control+ seemed like a better fit for me. THEY WERE RIGHT. I initially loved it, then added 3grams of tungsten at both the 4oclock and 8oclock positions.... and I love it even more. Still interested to try the Kevlar version, and curious about the 14mm. Great review. Keep it up.

Sorry if I didn't hear or see info, does the 3 layers of carbon fiber and 1 layer of fiberglass paddle come in a 14mm? If so is there noticeable difference between 16mm. Thanks trying to make my mind up .

The 14mm Control+ it’s definitely the way to go. If you’re looking for something with a little more pop at the kitchen line and really good power, you’ll be pleased with with that paddle. It was my favorite of the bunch, but I did have to add some tungsten tape to the sides as it’s very light. 7.8oz if I remember correctly.

LX - I love my Hurache X Control + 16mm! Excellent all court paddle and really enjoy the 6” handle for two hand backhands. Also enjoy supporting a local DMV small business. Keep up the great content!

Really wanting a good Kevlar paddle, I loved the 6.0 ruby, would the 16mm or 14mm be a better choice, I currently use a Selkirk halo power max and want less pop but want to able to keep my hands as fast as they are now with my slk

I personally would go with the 14mm, it’s a tad bit lighter so you can weight it up the way you like, and the pop isn’t overwhelming at all. The Kevlar as you know feels really plush!

I just bought the Hurache X Control (Kevlar) lightly used for $80. Hopefully I can get some games in this weekend to play with it.

@@ThePicklePulseI played 5 games with it so far. Took some time to get used to but one of the big upsides I like about it is the hands and dinking game is great with this paddle.

LX - The interview was very insightful since I daily the 11six24 Hurache X+. Looking forward to what else 11six24 has in store for upcoming releases. The lighter LX paddle might be much better for my developing pickleball elbow! Eager to try it.

Love your reviews I just found you not to long ago and I love seeing the gameplay! It’s so nice to get a review from someone who is highly skilled at the game. Really when you get to this level of play, you can almost use any paddle and make it good and by this time you’ve used enough paddles to understand which plays better than another type or shape. Thanks for the comparison on the CF Hurache-X Control+ 16mm vs 14mm. I've played the 16mm for about six months and love the feel, I tried a couple of different kevlar paddles but keep coming back to this one. I've always liked the quickness and pop of a 14mm so seeing this available in a 14mm got my attention.
