It takes a lot of courage to share the story of your daughter Rebecca with all of us. I think nobody here in our community knew, at least I didn’t since I watched all of your videos. We’re so sorry for your loss, but more so what a great way to keep her memory alive. You’re the man. It brought tears to this 56 year old AFOL. ❤️🙏

Alex, not only does your hospital put my MOC hospital to shame, lol, but your ability to combine both family and your Lego passion is what makes this even more special. So sorry to hear about your daughter, I too am blessed with kids who support their Mom's lego passion. Much love you, Mindy, Josh and James.

It makes me cry hearing you guys lost your daughter, so happy birthday Rebecca!. But I do have a couple suggestions (if you can do this) you should put a little garden or rooftop-park for the patients and maybe another bathroom behind the helipad.

Awesome built. Nice color layouts. Here in Japan, you stay at the Nursing or Ladies clinic/ hospital for at least one week after the baby is born. Health check ups is mandatory for all babies. Then they will take pics of the mom and baby and they will make banners for all babies born on that month. Plus the food is great.😄🗾 that hospital is heavy at 20+ pounds(12.7kg).haha awesome name as well😊

Agreed, I never missed a single construction update video either. I have a strong connection with hospitals myself because I've had multiple surgeries. Personally if I had the time and money I would probably build my own Lego hospital, but I do have the Lego worlds video game and you can build whatever you want in the game. And with Alex's newest hospital build this has definitely given me some inspiration on how I could build it in my game.

Wonderful video as always Alex and with being a Nicu baby born 27 weeks premature I have been through a lot and had to go right into surgery after I was born. The only way I know that is because my mom documented atleast my first 3 years of my life in a binder and I have read the whole thing a few times and done a few school reports on it in middle school a few years ago.
@alexnunes3 жыл бұрын
No kidding! That is just crazy and awesome that your mom documented it so well. Jimmy was a 26 weeker and was in the hospital for 4 very long months so you two have that in common. You'd never know by looking at him now. Glad you made it and nice job from your amazing mother.

Love the new hospital build, and the name. There's one obvious thing that is missing. A sign. It's nondescript for a hospital and could be mistaken for a large office building. Adding some medical symbols or "Hospital" signage would go a long way toward easy recognizability for those hurt minifigs.

Terrific work Alex. Finished product came out great. A fitting memorial to your daughter so you should definitely get a sign made with the name - maybe between floors 2 and 3 on that 2x2 white patch? The interiors could use a splash more colour but I understand that's low priority in your city at the moment

What a beautiful tribute to Rebecca 💙 Thank you for sharing her story with us 💙 Great build! I love the little details like the break room for the nurses & the elevator with its mechanism & door closing tile is fab! Perhaps as there are no adult wards or operating theatres it should be a Women’s and Children’s hospital? The name certainly is certainly worthy of that brief too 💙
@krishealey42943 жыл бұрын
I Do not comment very often on any lego videos, I use them mainly for inspiration. But the naming of this is awesome and really heartwarming. Which makes it even harder to make suggestions. But, it may need a slight alteration. You have no surgery bays or wards in the hospital. But other than that this is amazing, the build techniques are really good and a great deal of meaning behind it. great job
@mezbricks3 жыл бұрын
From a Lego point of view this is a wonderful build. If Lego made a set like this and charged 600-700$, it would be better than buying the big Colosseum set. Kudos to you for some great design. Sorry to hear about your daughter - my condolences. It's a great tribute to her. In my religion we believe children who pass away like this refuse to go to Heaven without their parents, so they all get reunited together as a family in Heaven, something they couldn't do here. Take care and stay blessed.
