All the time I spent at the Sacramento Raceway in the 70s and 80s are STILL some of the best times in my life. Feeling the top-fuel cars rattle your chest. Being blinded by all the rubber blown around by the jet cars. Over 400 people bracket racing twice a year at the High School Championships. Barbecuing inside my van waiting for the weather to pass. Making it 7 rounds deep bracket racing and losing in the semis on my '75 Z1b. (et 13.13) The girls REALLY getting into the "bikini contest" at the Fox Hunt Drags. Taking my '70 Challenger to race with the purpose of shattering the old tranny because I had a new one waiting at home. The HUGE crowds at the Governor's Cup. So many great memories. I wish ALL the tracks could stay around for future generations of gearheads. God bless Brent, Clay, and everyone at PFI Speed for helping keep the dreams and the memories alive. #Mopar&KawasakiForever!
