This video is a great example of why you have to shut down all of the negative talk we all do to ourselves, IMO. It's humbling to know that Smith can be as confused by conditions as anyone. He jumps from sliding at what, board 30 over to board 10?? That's not his game and if he had a release like Duke he could have played the far right lane. A spinner release is fun to watch, but there is a reason you don't see many international bowlers applying and mastering this release. Still a fan of Smith

(其餘在台灣打曲球有些場子比賽時心累的地方我們就不再多說，打曲球的有目共睹心照不宣，球一下去就知道了) 人家遠洋來打，好歹也把油車調成正常的油圖ml數… 同一條進攻路線，每次打轉折都不一樣，基本skid都沒有。 往左站五塊板送每次都不固定 右邊五塊板下球往內走會過頭，往外送變直球轉不回來 我以前看不懂Robert Smith為何念念有詞 現在知道了 真是令人頭痛，至今2023了還是一樣

damn, that's not the Robert Smith I remember back in the U.S. the pattern looked tough, but it's not like he hasn't bowled on tough patterns before. Why hook at your head pin spares? Go straight for the spares, then regroup for the strike shot

u can go a try that pattern urself, its a semi short and very light oiled 36-38 ft shot, with a big oob, and lots of carry down in the middle due to massive amount of that "helicopter or ufo" style.

I'm not saying that it wasn't challenging, I'm just saying that I know Smith could've done better. He won a U.S. open, which also has a big OOB. He didn't seem as serious as he needed to be in this match.

Last of my rant...Here's my point, would you choose to play on golf course w/ No slopes anywhere on the course or roughs? I know this example isn't exactly accurate, but my point is...it's the challenge of the surface obstacles as well right? Isn't that what the fun is about? A 300 ring or 800 ring for "helicopter" bowling should be a different color or somethin' cause it's not the same. I love bowling & i'd lose all passion for the game if i had to bowl this way. No challenge of patterns?

The whole FUN of bowling is the patterns. If you take em' out of play, what's the point. The whole fun n' challenge is NOT taking them out of play but adapting to it, BY CHOICE, and having fun figuring out the patterns and trying to strike on them w/ axis tilt, etc. That's why balls are also designed for it, etc. etc. That guy said "Good Luck" to Robert Smith. C'mon' man...

Sadly R.smith was done at the second frame in the game. What I am take away from this is that, negative self talk and not forgetting a frame will destroy you.With his self talk he couldn't even be consistent with his shots. I only watched about seven minutes of this and already knew that the he was in trouble from the get go. I have never seen this side of Robert in competition. And great job to the other guy, for sticking to his game plan, keep calm and to allowing Smith to destroy himself

All this nonsense of the helicopter style making Robert's shot terrible needs to stop. Yes it is going to make the lane hard to play, but he should be pretty much the only person playing that line. At this point in this game, it has just gotten to Robert's head.

沒錯阿!幾個漏掉的都不是用主攻球開打而是用收球的開球,基本上球分優利膠(Urethane)及波利材質(Poly)，一般而言主攻球都是活粒樹脂材質(Reactive)，彈性比較好、破壞力也比較夠。而解球用球大都是波利材質(Poly)，性能普通、但是很好控制

I think the move he made outside was a good move. He just had to find a line for it. That's the only way I can see him avoid the swirl of oil in the middle. Too bad R.S. didn't win.
