12-22-24 Sermon Only - Christ the Author: King of Kings

On this final Sunday of Advent, we celebrate the one to whom ALL authority in heaven and on earth has been given - Jesus of Nazareth, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. But in this Advent season of longing, we recognize that we are still waiting for that reality to be fully visible on earth, as it is in heaven. We also claim the words of Isaiah - Jesus’ authority is growing continually. What does this look like, and what does it mean for his followers?
