City Police Chief Tyler Trouten and Elko County Sheriff Aitor Narvaiza discussed OHV safety, a recent bust by the Crimes Suppression Unit that recovered tens of thousands of dollars in stolen merchandise and scams that cost area residents thousands of dollars. There is no news to report on Spring Creek shootings resulting in property damage and the sheriff reported on a fatal accident in Lamoille Canyon on Christmas Eve in which an Elko man was killed.
