The bartender turned and said, "Not that I care, but how do you know this?" The child said, "I know this: If one could be home, they'd be already there." My favorite line of all TSO projects so far.

Bart is both a phenomenal singer but also human spirit. I personally got to know him during his tenure with TSO and had many meals and conversations shared with him. This song's words are a blessing to everyone worldwide.

Most TSO fans love them for their rocked out Christmas songs and the light show with lasers and pyro and moving parts and rightfully so. And also for all the talented musicians and vocalists who have been part of TSO over the years. But I think underappreciated is the lyrics of their original songs including this one. Just outstanding.👍🎹🎶🎵🎼🎻🎺🎷

I want this storyline and song brought back! The story that ends and begins with An Angel Came Down/Returned!!

I heard old city bar is finally back because they are doing Christmas Eve and Other stories after ten years again. I believe they avoided it because the founder of TSO Paul Oneil wrote it and use to perform it...was too sad for them. I was going to do this song on a tour to open my Christmas Carol but sure enough it's returned. Ha he karma. Original on album is the bees knees incredible like a bum transformed but Bart here is awesome character actor and dang he can sing!

Bryan Usa Four different people performed Old City Bar for the West band; Tommy Farese (2000), John Margolis (2001), Bart Shatto (2002-2003, 2005-2011), and Graham Tracey (2004). Meanwhile, 3 different people performed Old City Bar for the East band; Steve Broderick (2000-2009), Jason Wooten (2010), and Ronny Munroe (2011). John Margolis also had the distinction of performing the song on their very first tour (before TSO split into 2 bands), and he was also the 2nd keyboardist during that first tour and in 2001 as well. So, you must've spelled 'Google' wrong when you did your research.

Oh wow! Never saw this one! I've been listening TSO for quite sometime during Christmas and this song came often as it appears the current shows are using this song once again, but with different performers. While every performer gives their best, is often the moment that captures the magic of the song that they are performing. Example? The 'Back To A Reason II' performance by John Brink in 2013 which became the most moving moment and quite unexpected from him to break down during it? I mean, those moments that makes TSO so special! Tio Nino tso is in a entire diffrent league , than most stars of the past 2 or 3 decades, more like Roger waters who wrote Alot of pink floyd, he did an album titled radio k.a.o.s. from song one to the last one on side two of the tape lol yeah its an oldie , it tells a story of a handicapped kid who becomes enabled to hear radio waves in his head and then go on to control the transmissions and even control all the computers and start armageddon pretty much , but eaxh song as it is sang you can actually see the happenings in your own minds vision, find it or dl it , and sit back and listen with some headphones and if it's legal in your area take a puff puff or 3 and enjoy the adventure it gives u Peace bro
