fairytale stories * It depends on how big your boobies are... it really comes down to that. 😂 The details are in the book I mentioned above, it’s only $20 but would definitely save you $1000s in medical costs, in addition to life and limb. During loading phase, I was taking up to 300 mg (not mcg) a day... after that, most people can take the usual 1 tablet/day at 12.5 mg. I have to take 50-75 mg/day as maintenance because I’m above average in cup size. 😊 There are additional co-factors that must be taken with iodine to help make the thyroid convert T4-T3... like selenium, B vitamins, D3 (or sun exposure), K2. It’s all in the book.

Was wondering if it also helps with PMDD/depression. I feel a lot better recently and I don't know if its from selenium or from exercising more or both.

I saw someone on youtube talking about if you have normal amounts of selenium in your system that taking more can cause prostate cancer. Possible?

When you soak nuts, make sure to add salt and an acid, like lemon juice, vinegar, whey, kefir, yoghurt, etc. These are what allow the nuts to germinate. The measurements do not need to be precise. I do a big pinch of salt, and a splash of ACV for a 12 oz bag of nuts. Cover with water, and soak for at least 12 hours. The longer they soak, the more phytic acid is destroyed. However, as they soak longer, the more the nuts will develop a slight tanginess from the acid. Drain and thoroughly rinse the nuts. Dehydrate at 110-140 degrees until they get a crispy crunch. Maybe 18-24 hours. This process also works for all nuts as well as seeds, beans, legumes and grains. Seems like a long process, but there’s minimal work you have to do. It’s mostly just waiting. It’s very very easy after you get used to it. Nuts, seeds, beans, legumes and grains are all much more digestible this way. You’ll be amazed at how they affected your body once you start sprouting them. So your body will thank you for it!
