I love the combination tool with seam ripper and stiletto. Very handy to have. I got mine from Amazon and they will engrave your name on it.

I bought a pattern notcher this year - what a wonderful tool! When I can’t find my fray check, I’ve carefully used Beacon glue. I have a metal turning tool (Oklaroots uses one on her videos) that I really love - it’s longer, and the narrow end has a ball tip so you never poke through your fabric. My rivet press was a splurge, but if you’re going to get into bag making…it’s a game changer! I didn’t have the dies for metal snaps, and was making a lot of wallets. After the first dozen, I ordered the dies. So much easier, and I’m able to get equal pressure all around.

I’m not, unfortunately. I live on the Isle of Wight and would travel except I have other commitments over that time. I’m so pleased to find a UK “Jess” (Okla Roots) ! I’ve just found your videos and so far they’ve really helped me. It’s hard to find lovely waterproof canvas, zips and zip pulls etc like they have in the USA. I’m hoping to join your bag club once it opens up again. Thanks 😊
