12 - Complete Form Validation in android studio - City Guide App

In this android tutorial, we are going to validate multiple fields in an android studio. We will validate username, email, password, phone number, date of birth(age) and also gender validation.
We will use Material design fields in android and also use radio buttons for gender and Calendar to get the age of the user.

Sir, Actually I have Two radio buttons if i press one radio button a edit text will appear if i press another radiobutton another edittext will appear so if the user press any radio button which edittext will appear from that button I want to validate that edittext

You have to write a validation method for both fields and in the backend check which radio button is selected and call the validation function of that screen

I have question, How to create custom calendar in which user can select a month from spinner drop down or edit text drop down and then a year which is same functionality as month with drop down and after that it will dynamically update the calendar view and when user press ok button then it will show the selected result on the text view.

Very good work. Though i noticed in your past videos you made use of the strings.xml file instead of hard coding values but in this video you hard coded the toast messages. Is there any reason why the strings.xml file wasn't used in these cases?

in checkPassword variables value there are missing 2 "\\" from no white spaces it shoul dlook like this:: "(?=\\S+$)" + //no white spaces

also the logic behind it is not to have min 4 values example: 1111 invalid password becouse there are no 4x character in it , example: 1111abcd valid password

It depends on the country, i.e. In my country If someone add 0 at the start then we check if string.chartat(0) is 0 then replace it with country code

From that video you can get isEmpty for phone number and also you can add no white spaces for number! Else you have to check weather that specific record is already in database or not! By following the next tutorial I will upload which is fetch users data from firebase

you can use SQLite to store the each data as a username and password and on time of login check weather the user has data in SQLite or not! Work accordingly :)
