"I am solving problems . . . that I created." I LOVE this description of crafting! Side, note watching CosTube (and also knitting) is my coping mechanism for grad school.

Haha me too!! I found CosTube during grad school which was an interesting combination

@@Lyissaful It's especially funny b/c I'm studying archaeology. I just did a project this past semester on a woven yucca fiber sandal, and I realized, I'm literally studying an extant garment. 😆 It made my nerd heart happy.

Thank you for this review. It is so intereseing to see a maker's take on their own work. My husband always tells me that I am too critical towards my work and that everybody else would love it. Now, watching you criticizing your marvelous costumes I see what he is talking about. Ariel, you are an amazing crafter and you can and should be very very proud of your work. You do so much in such a short time and the effects are stunning. It is okay to see mistakes and learn from them for the future. But please: be proud of everything you accomplished - you got the work done, made very entertaining videos and for the costume-god's sake: you have become a f*** COSPLAY WORLD CHAMPION. You earned it, because your skills, creativity and work ethics are amazing to all of us and even your older costumes show exactly these qualities.

The Tharaduil costume (crown+gown!)! Pretty please with all the cherries on top???? You would ABSOLUTELY be my costuming hero, I've been toying with that idea for years but I have almost not idea where to begin. Anywho! I ADORE your channel, looking forward to all your upcoming videos 😃💖 Saludos from MX!

Nice round up. I hadn’t realized that you only started in April congratulations on getting to 1000 subscribers!! I’ve no costume goals but I do have a few sewing ideas I want to do for the coming year. Top on the list is a silly hat for my grandson and if I can figure out a pattern a cape for me. Of course this will mean a cape for my daughter! The list is actually crazy long so I will stop here!

I'd like to say that I am quite impressed with your creations that you have completed from the 2022 plans in this video. The peice at the end, maybe Kymera, I really didn't understand the name but the Dragon gown, whoa!! I am really excited to see your interpretation after pausing, enlarging, and looking at the details for 15 minutes and gasping over the labor intensive work and artistry and then imagining the amount of money bags needed to purchase such materials. Your creations have been amazing so far so I know whatever you imagine up is gonna be fantastic, but I really do hope to see you do the dragon gown because it is freaking cool.

The runaway pumpkin was cute lol as for this year, me getting anything done around here sewing-wise will be a miracle with all the other projects on the go (though my wife keeps hounding me for more new undies, so that'll get done at some point lol), such as the deck steps, railings, ramp, pony walls, removable window screens and double-pane windows (to make the covered part a usable 3-season sun room), closet, and plans for a connection to a deck expansion, plus a (hopefully) self-heating greenhouse, repairs to corrals, more gardens, raised garden beds, a strawberry patch, an asparagus patch, clean out and re-plant the orchard, cut wood for the winter (we have a wood stove for extra heating in the winter to try to keep our power bills down to a manageable level and provide heat and cooking surfaces when the power goes out in the winter), install and build a new door for the barn, clean out the barn, finish the pen for the chickens, clean out and fix the pig barn, install panels on the pig pen, install pigs in said pig barn/pen, clean out the shop, clean out and fix the granary in the yard, plan out a spot for a root cellar/underground cold storage, fix/rebuild/replace fences, add more berry bushes to the current patch, pick berries and turn them into various forms of deliciousness (if we have any this year, that is, given last year's severe drought), organize, defrost, and re-plan freezers (so we know what's in them lol), re-organize the in-house cold room, clean out the basement, install a wallpaper mural in the bedroom, start painting or installing another two in the basement, patch squirrel holes in the attic, build my grain de-huller, set it up for use, find a proper bin to store the grain in that won't break the bank, build a small pantry cupboard in the kitchen... you know, that sort of thing lol but there's always rainy days for sewing, I guess lol

You are simply amazing. I really had to laugh at the IKEA dress. I loved the material, I watched all of your videos yesterday except Cinderella and the Britney, well also the Fluffy coat. But you had lots of other ones, and I also watched the Blue corset and shoulder thingy a few times. Simply amazing. Plus the wig, millions of braids. You are so clever, and really funny. Now I have to watch the Jaskier over!! You and Bernadette was really cute as well!!

I've been watching your videos for a couple weeks now, mostly in the random order that the KZbin algorithm happened to suggest them. I just watched this one and was so surprised that you had just 1000 subscribers just as of the end of last year! I'm not surprised at all that your channel has obviously blown up since then, because your videos are really great! I love your creative ideas and silly edits! I look forward to watching more videos as I work on my costumes for this year.
