You would have to manually read out the entire text in order to provide it context, as opposed to being able to just pasting it in. Or if you wanted to discuss code with it. Or maybe you want to workshop a story you just wrote.

same, it's a bit nerve wracking to feel that "time limit" where you have to KEEP SPEAKING or it will just start answering your half-asked question. Only works for confident speakers that have a clear train of thought. It would be great to be able to adjust that 'pause' period.

SearchGPT was a prototype OpenAI used for testing. Web search integrated into ChatGPT is the current version. I believe it has completely replaced SearchGPT.

As a nerd who enjoys his citations. I'd love to see an option to include alongside the links it suggests on search to include the citations provided as evidence for claims/statements. Also, an option to remove a source that commonly comes up in order to find more direct or better sources of information. I think this would go some way to help us during our research but also help society in finding new sources of opinion, expertise, etc. After all, I can already selectively remove websites from my search results with extensions on Chrome.

While these features are cool and great and useful. Let’s be honest. These 12 days of OpenAI are also about compensating for the fact that AI progress is now providing diminishing returns. We’ve hit a wall. As a consequence, now we have to lower our standards and expectations a bit and mostly get excited about features that improve tangential aspects of AI products rather than getting excited about direct improvements in intelligence.

on text, it shows u images and all which is so nice, but on voice it doesn't show any of that :/, and also it'll state a bunch of things which u might wanna copy and paste to friends or it states so much which u forget so it's better if when talking to voice it'll also show a bunch of a things on ur screen, that's just a suggestion it'll be way nicer that way

With pro users being a thing now we're not going to see increases for plus users for a while. They're going to need to see what their average bandwith is like first and see how feasible it'll be to scale up the extra use.

plus is being slowly phased out. they will improve free until it meets the same level as plus and then they will get rid of plus and from then on if you want the good features they will force you into the pro mode. all of this is a money grab. they barely have anything better than opensource models at this point, so if youre still paying for this then jokes on you lol
