I always try to tell people when I see something that would be embarrassing and I’d want to know. Sometimes I don’t even though I want to because I’m like well, maybe pointing it out will make it more embarrassing to them. So, if I can tell them quietly without others hearing, I’ll always tell them. If I can’t, then I sometimes weigh whether or not to mention it. If it’s something that I would be super embarrassed about, then I’ll tell them as quietly as I can. If it’s not too embarrassing then I might just let it go. lol it’s hard to decide sometimes! Some people have seemed annoyed by me telling them, but most have been really glad I told them so it’s helped me have more courage when doing it!

Pretty amazing, I am in my 50's and have pretty much given up drugstore makeup, content like this makes me re evaluate this opinion! I tend to lean luxury because you can try it, get samples and see it in different lighting so I know what I am spending my money on and justified the expense with I am not trying 10 products to find the one drugstore that looks good. With that said, creators like yourself I check in with high end and now drugstore, so thank you for doing all the leg work and saving me my hard earned money. In conclusion I only preferred 2 items in luxury: the Guerlain bronzer and the TOM FORD shadows other than that drugstore gave luxury a run for the money!!

If you are in the US, ULTA has drug store items you can try and even return after opening. Yes, ULTA is a little more expensive then say WalMart or Target. So, once you know you like it, you can repurchase it wherever it is cheaper. Also, if you contact most drugstore manufacturers and let them know you didn't like something and why, they will send you something else to try or give you a gift card for the value of the item to spend at a retailer like walmart/target. That being said, I think they have a limit of how many times per year they will do that. I know Covergirl and Maybelline used to do that, at least until 2020ish, the last time I contacted them. I saw a tip on KZbin the other day, and it was BRILLIANT. Put your foundation on the rest of the face, leaving out your nose. Then, use hairspray or setting spray on a dry sponge and coat your nose completely. Wait to dry and then place on your makeup. Tap the rest of that setting spray over your nose and then a small amount of powder with the rest of your face. I tell you!!! I was having so many problems flaking and breaking apart...you can now not budge it. I used setting spray, but apparently, hair spray is a lot better. In the good old days, women used to use hairspray as setting spray.

I started using eyeshadow primer on my nose and it really helped! Mac paint pot is great for it. I don’t really like it for my eyes, but it works great for my nose 😂 It also helps my foundation look so smooth around my nose and it doesn’t budge or fade all day! I’ll have to try hairspray or setting spray though now too!
