It gives me peace to watch the Furball cats and the amount of love and care for these cats from the Furball family. It's just wonderful and incredibly humanitarian.

I have been to Furball Farm Cat Sanctuary and it is a place like no other. It is a clean, warm, safe environment for feral cats who were once unwanted. Julie has truly created a wonderful team of people who care for these cats. What she didn’t know when she started Furball was how many of us cat lovers who are passionate about Furball’s mission would become family.

I love this place! I am so grateful that Julie followed through on her dream. So many cat lives have been saved because of the sanctuary. So many cats, that never knew the feeling of love or safety, are living their best life now. They recently opened up an extension of the sanctuary, and it’s referred to as the playground. I’ve never seen so many happy cats! They are living in their own Heaven on earth!

I have two stray cats, I absolutely adore. They have been fixed ( trap & release) we also have 3 inside cats, they stay inside. Their mom left them on our doorstep. Also been fixed. It’s been 6 years now. They are all happy & content. Love your channel of cat lovers.

I have been following Julie and the teammates at Furball Farm Cat Santuary for over a year now. This place is amazing and totally transparent. I started feeding the ferals/strays around my house and using their techniques I have managed to pet two of about 11 cats who visit. Those two cats would only hiss at me in the beginning. I am working with a trapper to get them spayed and neutered. I wish that part was going faster, but I have faith that it will get done. As a 501c3, any donations you make to the Sanctuary are tax deductible. Every donation warms your heart! If you are unable to donate money, please donate your time, by watching the videos, including the advertisements. That generates income for them as well!

Thank you for taking care of the cats in your neighborhood. I moved to Tucson 7 years ago and my first introduction to ferals. There are so many here. I now have one that I trapped and never released back. She is doing very well. I have one that took 2 1/2 years to touch. Now she comes in my house on a regular basis but I have not been able to make her a house cat. Maybe in another few years. It takes years but I am loving it. I plan on doing more once I am in my own place such as fostering and socializing cats. Remember some of those cats are not true ferals. They have been on streets so long that the ones that learn to survive then become feral after years on the streets. Those cats can be turned around but still takes years.

What an excellent interview! Julie & her team of volunteers at Furball Farm Cat Sanctuary in Faribault, Minnesota, are amazing. The cats are so well taken care of and loved in a cage free environment. Everyone should follow their social media and/or visit if you can, and I can attest firsthand that you will love it if you love cats. Thank you, Summit, for your support of this wonderful sanctuary. Thank you from a 2+ year follower.

I first came across Furball Farm Cat Sanctuary on Facebook. My 10 year old cat disappeared and I was searching on the Lost and Found pages when one of their reels came on. I couldn't stop watching! Going on almost 2 years now, and let me say that this place has helped me emotionally, and has also educated me a lot about cats in general. Everybody involved should be commended for everything that they are doing for these innocent unwanted cats on the streets!

I absolutely love this video.I live in a very rural area of Indiana. There are quite a few farmers around me, and of course the have barn cats. They will let them breed until they have to many then they start shooting them. I can't tell you the words I used. When I was at my vets I ask him if it was illegal to neuter your neighbors animals? He said not if they don't know, lol. We've had an agreement for almost 10 years now. As far as he knows I have 126 cats. He charges me for the anesthesia ❤

Like Julie said, this feral cat rescuer in California became aware of Furball Farm Cat Sanctuary by one of the reels shown on Facebook. There are so many cat videos to watch but this one 'reeled' me in and I have been a follower since shortly before their dedicated feral cat building opened in May 2022. I am hoping that this interview with Julie gets wider range because she is such an educator about the plight of feral cats and what she has done and what we can do to tackle this cat overpopulation problem that begats more and more feral cats when not enough is done to humanely lessen the feral cat population. I think about what I could do for feral cats if I won the lotto but Julie is right when she says that it takes so much more than that to succeed. It's like we need to clone Julie to run this type of cat sanctuary in every county in the USA!! LOL! I know we can't do that but she does teach us cat lovers about feral cats and their behavior and it has helped me in my little world of rescued feral cats. I also agree with her about how TNR can't really work if the now spayed/neutered cat is released outdoors in places such a Minnesota where it's too cold in winter for these cats to survive. We don't have that problem in California but still it can be hard for a released TNR feral cat to live outdoors in this human-dominated world and we do need cat sanctuaries everywhere where they can be socialized and find forever homes. Thank you Julie for putting yourself out there for feral cats.
