For excluding Mobile Apps, I would recommend create one time Placement Exclusion List specifically for all app categories then reuse it just in once click any number of times.

mobileappcategory::69500 I'm sure adding this exclusion code in excludes from all apps on mobiles. It worked a while back anyways. Rather than adding it in manually.
