Interesting fact about cats when they purr it's either to express happiness or to help themselves heal if they get hurt. So if you're ever hurt or sick and laying around, and your cat jumps ontop of you and starts purring that's them trying to help you the best they know how.

@@alphaomega5896 well I have heard of it working with ear infections before. But other that that I don't know. To be honest I don't think the purring actually helps you, it helps the cat because of the vibrations it causes in ther body, and when they lay ontop of you I don't know that it's strong enough. Either way if your cat does that, it's a sign they really love and care about you and they're trying to help

So sweet..natural reoccurring delight for a much stressed out recovering heart pacient letting go of it all at the end of a tough day….thank you, well..first it was some tara mantras and jamballa…black tara, white tara and then this lovely sound..not a match for the mountain lion outside all last night…and i checked yes it was a mountain lion seemed to be about a teenager…they have a few here on utube with the same exact strange sound making.
