I find route 1 so cool, being the original highway along the east coast. There’s a lot of stuff you’d miss if you just took I-95! Luckily I was able to travel this route completely as well back in 2021 and it’s really beautiful. Great video!

Nice. I'm glad you share my enthusiasm for these sorts of things. It is certainly interesting, trying to explain recreational driving to people who detest driving or are largely indifferent to it.

For those interested in the largest city in Maine, we pass right by the downtown area of Portland a short time after getting on I-295. It's strange he doesn't mention it.
