I was a model agent in 2 model agencies, 5 years, and I can tell you that models are picked depending on different factors that are not even mentionned here, which proves that the video is conveying a message that's false. First, models are picked depending on their look because the look needs to correspond to a BRAND (the target they have, etc.). 2nd, they need to fit certain measurements. That's only because measurements from the same size can vary slightly from a brand to another (again, depending on the target, age for example. An M at Tommy Hilfiger will be different than an M targetting older women - or men). Third, models (for the majority) need to fit a certain criteria which is : your face and body need to fit with as many brands as possible! If you fit several targets, then you have more contracts, and the agency takes more money as the model works more also. Please, let's educate properly when we try to do so.

INSANE reasons?? They are just THE reasons why a model is correctly choosen and another not! It is absolutely normal that a model has to submitted to some aesthetic canons..it's her job! They have to be tall, beautifull, thin and be elegant on the catwalk....stop saying that everybody SHOULD be a mode, because it is demeNted, as concept itself! You wouldn't accept an engineer who builds unsafe buildings or a surgeon who doesn't know human body, so it not ACCEPTABLE that a model, whose job is to be beautiful ( and to wear particular clothes in a perfect way) is fatty, short or whatever the current hypocritical "single thought" decided that it HAS TO BE accepted, talking about models beauty!
