Thanks for the facts. India has a long history. Before our country named India it had name Bharat Barsa. Many great persons were created in India.Buddha came from Nepal(In modern day it is called Nepal) to India for the search for truth of life and got enlightenment in India under the peepal tree in Bodh gaya. Our ancient time was a golden period for us. India had also universities in ancient time .For example Nalanda University .It was functioning from 427CE to 12th century. A Scholar from China named Xuan zang also came to study about logic ,grammar ,Sanskrit and Buddhist Philosophy. The university had the biggest library in the world that time. But Muslim invador Bakhityar khilji destroyed that university and burnt all the books and also killed the monks.Our all the collections of knowledge had burnt.Mughal kings had also destroyed so many architecturial temples of India. Mughal and Britishers ruled us for a long time . They tried their best to destroy our culture and mind set. And unfortunately they got maximum success . Under their rule out mindset got changed and gradually we forgot our true potential and history . They also looted many more wealth from India. Some of Our ancient achievements also include 1.zero was invented by Aryahbata and bramhagupta . 2.Susruta discovered the Surgery And also called as father of plastic surgery. 3. Indians had also a great knowledge about geometry, trigonometry,and measurements which can be seen by the ancient architecturial temples. 4.Newton and Leibniz discovered calculus but But long ago before them Indians have knowledge about sequences and series which is the pioneer of calculus. 5 . Ancient Indians used to produced high quality steels which was almost two thousand years before the west. Proof is the mehrauli iron pillar Delhi. etc These aresome of the achievements that has proof .But there are also many achievements proof of which has been destroyed by Mughals and Britishers. They always tried their best to destroy our history. It is so sad to say that many of Indians also don't know about the above achievements. Our ancestors would be sad that we can't take their legacy forward ,But allowed to destroy it . I hope we Indians who were in sleep for last 1000 years will learn from our history and will rise again to take the the legacy of our ancestors forward.
