Joie, I love all your videos; so much positivity and creativity. I would like to see you do a series of how you insert so many of these multi-faceted pockets and flips. Maybe 'install' would be a better word. I am not an experienced journal maker, so would greatly appreciate seeing how you make an elaborate pocket/flip and then incorporate it into your signature. It appears many of your creations are integrated into the signature, rather than just glued on. Maybe not all, but knowing that would also be very helpful. Just love when you show your journals, they are so beautiful with all the colors and images I truly love this video it's very helpful for me because I know sometimes for myself if adding to much will make the journal not as enjoyable or interesting to me or someone, who may be receiving as a gift. Love things like foldouts, and different ways to make pockets..have not used prompts lately. I have quite a few stamps and when I can, I'm going to do some stamping and coloring them. Very informative and inspiring. 👍🙂 No, I don't remember the specific items I make. So I create naked (not decorated) journals containing all the pockets, flips, tucks, tags, etc. that I make for the first time, whether from my imagination or that I've seen others make. I currently have ten 100 page journals like this, each made from 25 sheets of cardstock. If needed (not obvious), I note instructions. So when I get another 25 sheets completed, they'll get bound together for reference journal #11. Before beginning a new journal or while making one, I flip through the reference journals and often think, "Oh I forgot about that..." and then go make it. I'm assuming one day I might decorate and actually use them however if I'm honest, I probably won't. They're too important as they are. I think #10 is primarily things I saw on this channel when I binge-watched all your videos not that long ago. As for including fabric... for years fabric companies sent me one yard samples of all their new lines. To say I have a lot of commercial fabric is an understatement. Add to this my own fabrics and my "stash" is obscene. So I use fabric in most of my journals, some are 100% fabric. Once stiffened I can treat them as cardstock to make pages, pockets, cards, etc. I've had students make journals out of old clothes (I make dog beds from mine). Fabrics can be painted, stamped, collaged, manipulated, and obviously sewn and written on. It's unfortunately a very under-utilized medium in journaling.

I love to tear (mostly cotton) fabric into strips. I roll them up & pin to store in jar. Fat quarters (for quilting) work great! You can use as tag tops, strips down a long side, addition to collage... Just about anything/anywhere. Joie, you know I'm a BIG fan... Promote you when I can, love your ideas!!! Hugs!!!
