Jesus was simply saying that the Church of Leodicea needed to keep all the 10 commandments. Spiritual blindness comes from breaking God's commandments. "And anoint thine eyes with eyesalve that thou mayest see" Has a connection to this Bible verse from Psalms "The Commandment of the LORD is Pure, Enlightening the eyes" pure like pure Gold, tried in the fire and no dross found, enlightening the eyes means that thou mayest see. The Church of Leodicea had become wealthy like us in these last days, we got cars, houses, skycrapers, iPhones, planes, satellites, ect. But are notorious for breaking the commandments. Have you seen how much the media is pushing fornication and adultery to the Masses? Many couples are having open marriages. The cure is not only to believe in our Lord Jesus Christ but to walk in all his ways as well, because outside are the dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
