12 ~ MIB Violet Waters Review ~ Silhouette of the 1930's ~ 15" IT doll by Mel Odom, Gene Marshall

First Mint In Box one! VIOLET WATERS ~ SILHOUETTE of the 1960's. Moving right along... This friend doll of Gene Marshall is the next doll that was added to my dream Gene collection of having one of each of Mel Odom's character dolls, with articulation. Those being the Jason Wu, Integrity Toys ones.
Released in 2009, #92076 She is the only African American character of the Marshall line through all manufacturers. This series captures the essensce of fashion for the decade it is named after. Remember that I have Zita of this line, representing the 1930's?
I found out after filming this that Violet and Oona Belwether share the same head mold.
This was acquired & filmed in about June 2018! In regards to real time, she ends up being the most expensive one purchased. This one did become available a few times on ebay, you know I was watching, and happily any that were of the same MIB status were about the same in price range. Glad I didn't jump too soon and regret the price paid. Some were less money but no clothes or whatever. Now, the other 2 did show up eventually too. I only had slight regret with a MIB Chartreuse. She looked gorgeous and sold for significantly less than I paid for this one.
Win some you lose some right?! Nothing has taken away the fact that I do still love her! Perfect choice!

Wendy, She is absolutely stunning!! I’m so glad her arms didn’t change color like some of the other ones of her. Will you be getting Trent??? I’m so mad that I missed on him, at a steal. But I wasn’t sure if I was going to buy more than one of these dolls. (Silly me 🤪) The girls all look gorgeous in the case!! Nice pick on her. Chunga Fea Hello lady!! Same here on the discolorations. Funny enough, Gene people don’t seem to care about yellowing. Trent??? Love and hate with him. If any, I want a full suited up, formal one, that I know... But I hate the molded hair the most. For this line as exquisite as it is, I feel like he ruins the flow 😂😂😂 Then add his price. I dunno I guess I may be just leaning toward just ladies. Now... have you seen Jamieshow Trent? HE could change my mind. 😂 But price on that is way out of my league. He has his part... ☺️and a hair cap... which makes me think a wig can be made for him.

Perdón por el retraso mi amigo. Este es otro personaje amigo de la línea Gene Marshall con Integrity Toys. Su nombre es Violet Waters. Los de la compañía Ashton Drake no estaban tan articulados como estos. Mi objetivo ha sido conseguir solo uno de cada uno de los amigos de Integrity Toys, ya que sus precios son un poco más altos de lo que suelo gastar. Me enorgullece decir que en tiempo real también lo he mantenido ... aunque llevo meses atrasados en compartir los videos sobre ellos. Esta compañía es la misma que Jason Wu que actualmente hace las muñecas Fashion Royalty, un poco más alta que Barbie, creo. ME ENCANTA la sensación de este tamaño en la mano, pero lamentablemente la vida no me ha dado tiempo para jugar con ellos ni con ningún otro. Te amo dama! ¡Que tengas una buena semana!
