Catherine, you are not a crying cow!! I hear you about your mom!! I lost my mom on Easter Sunday April 1, 2018. My sister & I had to pretty much make the decision of our mothers life. The hospital screwed up her surgery & yes she may have had other health issues but that was the hardest decision we ever had to make about letting her go. Every holiday, birthday, special day in my life has been extremely hard. I hate the holidays even though I put a front on for my 2 young teenage boys. I get your feelings & there is nothing wrong with that!! I'm praying you will have more subscribers in 2024 & can supplement your lifestyle with your youtube content. That's so beautiful, Skely. I've been going to church with my mom and I started back going with her because I wanted to make the most of her time on this earth. And I came to really enjoy it and seeing all her friends each week. And I sat next to her today and I thought what will I ever do without her. And I thought if I never take my eyes off her maybe she will never leave. I know it sounds crazy but I just love her so much. She's 88 and she's a feisty little lady. I'm 52 and I'm so lucky to still have her. I loved your story. I always love your stories. My husband and I had a video call when it turned midnight there (it was just 7 here as we are the ones waiting for his visa 2 yrs so far to come join me here) and I could hear all the fireworks. New Year's day makes me sad too. My dad was born on New Year's day. I always sang Happy Birthday to him at midnight either on the phone or in person. He died over 30 years ago and i still miss him. Cathy , Never feel bad about missing you mother. It shows the love you have for her still so deeply in your heart. I lost my mother the week before Thanksgiving 9 years ago so I always get sentimental and sad that time of year. You make me laugh at all your stories. I just love hearing them.
