Great Job! Dollywood is our families' favorite park. Always bought season passes when we lived in Knoxville. Moved away, visited other parks but we all agree Dollywood was the best ever! You nailed the Thunderhead and the Wild Eagle one is the other I think. Interesting fact: I remember visiting the park back in the 70's when it was Silver Dollar City and Pigeon Forge was only a two lane road surrounded by farm land. Only had a few stores, literally like four stores and a gas station. Watched it progress through the decades to what it is today. There is no other place that comes close to what Pigeon Forge is today. Very affordable family oriented area to go vacation. We all regret moving from East Tennessee but do visit from time to time because we love it so much. The traffic is INSANE now!!!

I think this is my favourite park that you have showed. I love these really “realistic” type roller coasters with custom supports (and then being really good), theming was really good, and the coasters were AMAZING

Watched this whole video, and this part is amazing. This guy knows how to build a park. My favorite ride was the needle tail for sure. Loved the the theme and landscape of the ride. It look super smooth. Close second was the ho-ryu. I love getting thrown around while im riding roller coasters and I felt like this would have been a very fun one to ride. Nonetheless props to guy that built this park, absolutely astonishing.

That first Giga is fantastic! I've been dreaming out that 2nd hill phase with a longer 2nd half and ending and there it is. Perfect length and longer just like it should, and without loopy loops! A steel giga without a loop, fantastic restrictions and discipline there.

So cool this park! I have mentioned it before to increase FPS, turn water quality graphics waay down, and shadows. The FPS increases dramatically without it looking bad. I know you have an amazing PC, but this could have had way more fps. Awesome park and heads of to the creator!
@ItsDannyRobbins5 жыл бұрын
Thanks a million Bughuul! I agree, those two adjustments to settings makes a huge improvement and is how I was able to build the park. I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
@Channel5Gaming5 жыл бұрын
okay i'll give this a try, but honestly. I did work on Candy Land after all, and the difference between absolutely low graphics vs ultra, wasn't even a single frame... i don't know why.
@BoogeymanBughuul5 жыл бұрын
@@Channel5Gaming hmmmm. All I know is that when on full shadow and water quality I get 20 fps on BIG parks. With only shadow and water quality all the way down (so texture quality etc on max) i get 35 isch fps. Shadows and water quality heavily influence the CPU compared to the rest. Anyways, loved the video! Thanks for your reply!

That first coaster was epic. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a drop that high, featured in this series, which is awesome. I mean in real life we live for steep drops but yet the drops tend to seem mile to me in most of the games featured, so that coaster was epic to see.
@ItsDannyRobbins3 жыл бұрын
Kestrel stands at 387ft, and it's drop is about -115* in steepness. It reaches 107mph off the drop. The second lift is 250ft and 90* vertical if I remember correctly.
@spencerhamilll48045 жыл бұрын
these parks are truly amazing, but I feel like the fact that almost nobodys computer can handle the sheer size of it, it takes away from how incredible the entire park is, I feel like planet coaster should try and do something about it, I don't know what they could do, but just think about how amazing these parks would be without lag.

nothing the devs can really do other than adding in limits on the amount of objects that can be placed. No amount of optimization will overcome people adding unlimited mount of objects.

These coasters deserve cheat engine 60fps vidoes. As someone who pushes the engine to it's limits my opinion is always if you make a park or coaster of this kind of scale you have to be ready to make the cheat engine videos and edit them if you want the work to really be appreciated. A trailer like video panning threw the secions of the park with POVs as well would do this park justice. But it's on the creator because as I can tell you....it's alot of extra work.

35:19 - Since it's an Asian themed coaster and I know some Japanese, it's pronounced "Hoh Ree-yuu". Ryu meaning Dragon.
@ItsDannyRobbins5 жыл бұрын
EXACTLY! Google translate says that the name translates to "Treasure Dragon" but I have a hard time believing "treasure" is just "hoh" in Japanese, lol.
@ThunderDragonRandy5 жыл бұрын
@@ItsDannyRobbins - Ryu (りゅ, or Ryuu/Ryū りゅう) could also mean a thing a few things too. Dragon (modernly 竜 or traditionally 龍, both Ryuu/Ryū or "Tatsu" in old traditional Japanese) or flow/current/style (流, Ryuu/Ryū) but dragon may sound more logical to the coaster name's translation. But the Ho (ほ, or Hou/Hō ほう) could have various meanings. Law /act/principle/method (法, Hou/Hō), treasure (宝, takara, "hou/hō" as a prefix/suffix), then there is 方 (Hou/Hō) which has various meanings (direction , person, alternative)... There's still a lot of Japanese I don't know and I've been slowly learning for over 10 years now.

Nah, see... I don't put any of the blame of Frame Rate on the creators... that is absolutely the responsibility of the Devs for creating a crap engine. The same thing happened in RCT. Look, if games like Cities Skylines can do it, you can do it here - you just have to write an efficient engine and they didn't.

The landscape is not that great. Coasters are fun and creative. Terrain needs work and not enough water features. But then again, I compare all parks to MKP creations and nothing will ever be as good as his parks.
@xxthexcaliburxx4 жыл бұрын
Can you please stop using the head-cam for the Pov's and use the Track-Cam instead? The Coasters would look much better and smoother than the rattly head-cam pov. Especially if the creater cared enough to smooth the coaster you kinda let that all go to waste by using the head-cam.
