That 82/70 plaque on the table is really unique! I’ve been thinking of custom making some sweep decals for some of our machines where I work, since none of them have matching decals . I have a couple videos on them cycling if you’re interested in seeing any of them.

More bowling/work ambient sounds, love it. Oh the hours of 82/70 sounds that have gone thru these ears already, never can have enough! :D

Holy, that badge. I thought none were left.

Can you do the same type of video with the AMF 82-90?

The amfs are always the best ones to watch.

I am thinking these machines were built in the 70s.

Well the later 82-70's are. Techniaclly the 82-70 came out in 1963 but at that time because its still a prototype model, it had a different distributor and bin assembly which both had faults until AMF redesign them to the ones we know of today where the distributor extends and the bin assembly doesn't tear up pins like the original design does

They came out in the 1960s. We had them at Yale bowl in Tulsa in the mid to late 60s. 60 lanes of them that replaced 82-30s.

I'd love to see a video of AMF 82-30s cycling, with the last minute showing what happens after a late foul (which usually results in the mechanic/pinchaser using foul language).

It looks like they don’t have enough pins on this lane.
