I have them since 2007. Still work great. I would suggest them to anyone who wants decent speakers. They are great for music, awesome for movies and games. JUST BUY THEM, YOU WON'T REGRET

It's a trade-off between the more attractive blue light of the Sticks ii and the more practical detachable cable of the Sticks iii. I've had to solder my ii cable several times, and the cord was getting a bit short. Still the prices between the 2 are almost as close as the quality. If you can't afford these, the CyberAcoustics 3602 comes surprisingly close in audio quality and have more features for as low as $25 on Amazon. But hard to beat 4 JBL speakers per stick.

i'm using the same soundstick 2 as urs..6 yrs and still going strong!! only issue is d speaker cable that controls d volume need to be winggled around..otherwise..its still perfect :D

the exteror shells of the speakers and subwoofer are made of clear plastic, what else would they be made of? LOL

hello sir , i have a small room, smaller than yours , my questions are Since i know your room is bigger, i want to ask if it "fills" your room and , if they are directional , which means they need to be really focused to you in order to hear the music well. Thanks!

How do you clean your subwoofer, i've recently got one and don't really know a good way to clean the insides of the subwoofer in case of dust.

randomrazr my room is filled with smoke most of the time and there is lots of dust , is it advisable to get these speaker , do they require clean place or regular cleaning ?

If your room is filled with smoke and dust, it will likely get dirty, but you can keep it mostly clean on the inside by stuffing a cloth in the port when it's not in use. (You can leave it in there if you don't mind it dampening the bass a bit.)

spwath soundsticks I if i remember correctly work by plugging into your macbook via USB rather then audio cable. i cant rmember for sure though if thats the case, that means it will ONLY work with a computer and not a portable device like an iphone or tablet.

This is a poor review you failed to tell people about the issue with vocals at high volumes max out the settings on your computer listen to a song with volume maxed out on the speaker then in your volume setting increase it to max and listen to what happens. I reviewed these 2 years ago I had the III.
