Hi Phil, loved your jacket review, it looks ideal for all the different types of weather you go out walking in. Think i may look at this for Tony not that we hike but he is always cold, if it keeps you snug and warm in those conditions he should be fine ha ha. We enjoyed seeing the jacket review, Phil. Looks like a wonderful jacket for day's like you're in! The waterproofing would be nice. That's being said I'm out on the patio in shorts and a polo shirt in Arizona. 😁😁 Bring the laptop out with me and sip coffee. Have to admit, I like my plan better! 🤣🤣 But, still can't build a snowman. I can live with that!

Thanks mate. Was atleast 6” deep and even deeper the higher you got. There were snow drifts in places as it was like a blizzard at times. It’ll still be there times mate 👍

Hi Phil whoh very snowy and beautiful here and the jacket looked great and warm. Good that its breathable too so that you don't sweat. Like how the zipper goes up high over the chin. Good review Phil and good that you were honest. Loved the snowman 😃👍~ Anna

Always like Montane gear Phil, I haven't used the Fireball lite...or the Fireball. I actually use a Berghaus version which is reversible... warmer one way out than the other..Hypertherm from memory 🤔 Looked a good day for testing it, ATB Alistair 👍

Looks great! Two questions, though...have you also tried the fireball standard version and if so, does it also have the issue with the hem elastic riding up? Is this definitely the lite version in your video? Because I thought the lite version has fleece side panels... I'm stuck between the two options currently as I run hot. Thanks!

@@xlmusic6419 hi. I’ve not tried the standard version so couldn’t comment on that sorry. This version is definitely the lite. I bought the women’s version for my wife and again it was the lite. It really is a great jacket though 👍
