Ice is nature's great preservative. When we buy groceries, we put them in the freezer because we know they'll last longer when they've been frozen over. We've found shipwrecks, fossils, and animal remains preserved in ice for thousands of years, almost perfectly protected from the passing of time. With cryogenic freezing, it's possible that human beings will one day be able to sit out eternity! That's for the future, though - right now, we have this fantastic video of incredible things that have been found in ice.

No mention of "Ötzi the Ice Man"? That would seem to be an oversight given that he is certainly one of the most famous "Incredible Things Found Frozen In Ice". Certainly a lot more remarkable than 100yo bottles of whisky found in Antarctica. They've even found Christmas cake dating from the same period at one of the early encampment sites there.

I once was frozen over after treking 55 miles on a snowmachine towing a sled in Alaska. At -55 When I reached a linecabin I almost did not make inside. Whats called overflow had kept me drenched. Off and om the whole way. Weard thing is you do not notice it? It starts as a shell. That wicks in and gets thiker. Also my beard and mustash had fused together. So my face was also a sheat of ice. Took all I had to make each step. And wound up having to smash it with the handle of my ax. Too move at all. Litetaly feet from the door. I could have died? If I had not grabed my axe to split kindling with it.

P.H. Bridegroom I saw that dragon doc also it was on history or discovery and it was one of those deals just like the mermaid doc. It was fictional, pissed me off because I told a ton of people about it thinking it was real until the second time I saw it and read the fine print.......it said it has 2 sets of lungs, one set for breathing and another it could inflate with hydrogen which made it lighter weight so it could fly (like a hot air balloon) and it sharpened its teeth on Platnium deposits, so it could click its teeth together to get a spark, then it would exhale its hydrogen filled lungs and that’s how it blew fire........we’re talking about the same documentary correct ?

Corpse and cadaver are both medical/legal terms for a dead body. ... Although cadaver is the older word, it has come to refer in particular to a dead body used for medical or scientific purposes, for example, for medical students to dissect, while corpse is used more generally no no its not lol

Why? Because you have a single book from the bronze age written by people you cannot meet or even identify. That wrote a collection of stories that are allegory, which is how all stories were told at the time. Because of the lack of literate people and methods for simple writing, people passed on stories verbally. information With no other evidence apart from personal anecdote. And also a distinct lack of expertise in the area. Yeah, you are probably right.

Well, this truly sounds believable. The facts that they heard a mechanical noise when it started spinning and other details make me think that it might possible to achieve an aircraft like this - in the very future. I've you would've told people 200 years ago how we live today they would have treated you exactly the same way as these poor men, most likely even worse. Me for myself, I still think that we are the product of another species. Maybe the whole world is. Like a big real computer simulation with extremely sophisticated AI.
