Careful with the law of attraction. It’s not allowed in Islam because all things happen due to divine Will. Anything that happens is because Allah Willed it, not because of positive thinking.

I got you but As Muslims Allah is expecting us to always be positive. Having positive thoughts is part of it even in times of trial. Proof is everywhere in the Quran but one of there’s one famous Hadit from Abu Huraira عن أبي هريرة ـ رضي الله عنه ـ قال : قال النبي صلي الله عليه وسلم (( يقول الله تعالى : أنا عند ظن عبدي بي، وأنا معه إذا ذكرني، فإن ذكرني في نفسه ؛ ذكرته في نفسي وإن ذكرني في ملأ ذكرته في ملأ خير منهم ، وإن تقرب إلى شبراً ، تقربت إليه ذراعاً ، وإن تقرب إلى ذراعاً ؛ تقربت إليه باعاً ، وإن أتاني يمشي؛ أتيته هرولة )). Therefore, Allah is asking us to be positive and think positive of him and if we think bad of him then we’ll get it because we’re expecting bad or not expecting anything at all from him when. Very similar to the law of attraction - I understand your point of view and I agree that the term do not fit our religion. But there’s truth and we have the best of explanation in our religion.
