Finally! Official Hexbuckler Support! Getting new subclasses post launch and mod support is very surprising, I’m glad they did it. This is a neat little selection, I can’t think of too many other ones they could’ve done instead besides Arcane Archer kinda being a dud (but who knows maybe larian will turn it around), maybe mercy monk, a hard tie between Soulknife and Swashbuckler, and doing Aberrant Mind over Shadow sorcerer, since it’s so thematic for BG3 specifically, but shadow sorcerer is also a really fun class and is gonna be really fun for being an edgy durge. It’s really cool that they did this at all like Larian is one of the hardest working RPG developers like- at least for this decade

Official 5E rules state that Toll the Dead damage uses a d12 for any creature that has taken *any* damage, versus only if they are at half health or lower in the mod version. Official rules > mod rules in this case.

How larian handles updates: we put a bunch of new stuff for free in including animations, subclasses, voice lines and continue helping the community to develop their own content. How Ubisoft handles updates: yea we just pumped out a full price DLC that locks you out of the base game you bought unless you buy the new dlc...your welcome Kinda different approaches to their fans and community I think

NEW SUBCLASSES?? WOOOOO!! Glamour bard. This sounds like a barbiefied subclass, but it's actually insane. Imagine being a mindflayer and you see a pink-haired bard playing Barbie Girl on their lute. Giant Barbarian. YES!! Whenever playing Barbarian I always wanted *this* type of vibe from it, but I never got it from the other subclasses. Death Domain!!! YES, LET'S GOOOOO! This is what I want Shadowheart to start as so I don't have to go to Withers and get rid of her Trickery Domain. Druid Circle of the Stars! So excited for this. It's a MTG card if I remember correctly, so having that in the game I could *perhaps* build my deck as characters in my BG3 game🥱 Oath of the Crown? So like, a proper *knight* Paladin! One that's meant to protect the king! ARCANE ARCHER? This is Dragon's Dogma's Mystic Archer fr. (which is and always will be my favourite class in dragon's dogma dark arisen so i am so excited!) Well, i feel bad for the folk who made mods for these subclasses already. Just got made obsolete. That being said i am interested in what some of these will be like. Especially that circle of stars druid. Ive always been interested to play a druid. That might be my excuse. Ive been excited for the idea of a photo mode. I dont know if ill ever be able to do it, but ive had an idea for awhile as a little project for myself. Maybe if mods ever get made for giving characters different poses they can do, i was thinking of one day making a sort of calender using photo mode for screenshots. Like have shadowheart as the picture for september, or something. It'd be better if there were mods for bikinis/beachwear in general i could use with it. Though i dont know if anything like that would come to console. The woes of being a console player, more limited mod selection. Anyway im just musing on an idea here dont mind me. I do have to wonder if giant barbarian will be a better throwbarian build than berserker. Its hard to imagine berserker being beat out. I wonder if itll be a case of giant being lower maintenence, but if you actually invest in using potions of hill giant strength, berserker becomes better.

And regarding mods: When I uninstall a mod on vortex, is it completely gone from the system, or do I have to clean that up?

Oh wow you don't like Sorcerer!! Blasphemy! The ranger class seems really fun though. I didn't see the Monk classes were updated, I will check that out!! I think that Patch 8 will be compatible with mods, otherwise every console player will have their saves bricked. Im certain it'll be smooth this time. I don't use vortex often because of issues I've had with it, but if you remove a mod and don't see it in the in-game mod manager you should be good!
