12 Newer Looxi Shades I've Been Loving!

For those reading comments: Looxi does an annual "opening the vault" sale usually between December & January where they bring back almost every shade that they've ever done. That's the best time to grab shades that aren't usually on the site. Goody goody gumdrop is similar to adonis, but even more similar is starboy! Those two are two of my all time favs because they live in that super sparkly, reflective, barely colorful interesting "neutral" realm, whereas goody goody gumdrop is slightly more colorful. 💜✨

They also seem to bring back some shades in the Sale section so I am always checking there for new “old” shades to update my collection. They even have a section for highlighters. I am not necessarily a completionist but I do enjoy collecting Looxi shades 😊

You're welcome everyone! I used to be a completionist when it came to looxi but I started to have a lot of overlap between shades within their line. Kathryn's vids have become an excellent resource for me so that I can save a little coin & not blindly buy every new launch.

Who doesn’t like the shade Chocolate Cherry?!?! 😆 It’s one of my favorites! It’s not as shifty and exciting, but the way it gleams on the lids is so pretty! I’ve been loving your swatch videos-thank you for all the work you put into your content! ❤

I really appreciate this type of content. I recently got some Looxi eyeshadows and I wish I based my haul on your videos. For example I completely missed out on Splash, which is right up my alley. I like the shades that I got, but I ended up with quite a few dupes, and I don't know if I should blame myself for always picking the same shades, or the small amount of info put online by the brand. At the very least they should do live swatches on their social media, as it gives a better idea of the shifts. Unfortunately I think they pretty much gave up due to some of the feedback they got in the past on their swatches.

I feel like they should be listening to feedback instead of giving up? How do you improve as a brand if you stay doing the things consumers are constructively criticizing you on? They don't respond to comments, repost customers, post on stories, or participate in social media at all aside from doing a post every other month about a sale.. like what brand does that 😂

Kathryn, what was the name of the one after glitz n ritz? My guess is saltwater taffy or maybe peacock but it doesn't quite look the same? 👀 You'll probably recap at the end & say it.. I love these. Some of my faves are in this group. I really like the collections they have given us this year. I haven’t picked up any of the lates ones yet but it’s because I am checking through my collection to see if I already have similar ones as some look similar to what I already have. As such I want to select a few instead of pick up the whole bundle.

I’ve found that Pretties for Your face shadows did not last well for me. They also had a strange darker ring around the shadow pan when they first came.

So I threw Red Hot in my last order because of this video and oddly the Red Hot I received wasn’t chunky at all, not shifty at all, just a copper color with gold sparkles throughout?

This is such a helpful video! I am quite scared to try Looxi's formula, but I have fallen in love with some of these shades (Jellybean, Splash, and Feels from this video) so I do plan to try them this year. I just need to find good/reliable mail forwarding service that does not cost three times as much as shadows, lol. Do you think Looxi will ever offer international shipping in the future?

I live in Germany and i've purchased from them a few months ago, i've used an US address and ended up paying almost double for handling,fees + international shipping but is still a very affordable brand ! And to be honest i loooove all shades i've got and i'm already building another wishlist 😅😅😅

I used Planet express to ship to my country. I paid 12 dollars and a handling fee, and 6 dollars on duties. I am not affiliated with them, in case you were wondering. Shipping can take a while if you use the least expensive option (Asendia). Mine took 15 days which is standard for anything that ships from the US here (excluding DHL/Fedex etc). They are to my knowledge the least expensive forwarding service, if you just want to ship one package.

@chromaticromance Thank you for replying! 15 days is slightly faster than shipping usually takes here, even DHL. I usually pay around $20 for shipping + duties, so this seems like a good option! I had heard some companies will not ship to Planet Express, but I am glad Looxi is not one.

I have them both and don't think they are that similar. That being said, I have like 300 single shadows and a lot of very very very similar shades and I don't care and I love them all😂😂😂😂
