actually all of the Fallen members are in this band. Ben moody, (left after Fallen) Rocky Gray and John LeCompt all left after the Open Door. Amy Lee IS EVANESCENCE at this point because most of the members have fully shifted.

There was no interview at the time they did that song, that was back in 2001 or 2002 before they became worldwide famous, I read it also on Evthreads a decade ago! THAT PAGE IS ALSO OFFICIAL! "John LeCompt wrote the original, called "C Sharp". It was about his love/obsession with Eggo Waffles. Amy re-wrote the lyrics though and so it became "Forever You".

No i believe it. I finally found some crowd recordings. St. John is DEFINITELY different. Some of the songs were exactly the same. some were edited. Sleep Well was the same in all the videos. St. John was different but it was still awesome. I'm trying to find Samhain's crowd recording.

Because people don't know how to just appreciate music anymore. But if you notice it's only the close-minded Ev fans who come to these videos just to say shit about WATF. I've yet to see any WATF fans purposefully go to an Ev video to say negative shit about them. I love both bands. Both bands have my favorite songs, and both bands have singers who do great live as well as suck live at times. I personally think they should all mash up and make a super band lmao.

Just as NEW Ev isn't Gothic anymore either. They have a brighter sound but it's still heavy. But Amy's new lyrics are more so about letting go of the past and telling people to do what they want because she doesn't care anymore. Neither WATF or New Ev are gothic and that's good. Both bands can be great without having to be depressing. I never related to Old Ev's lyrics but I do to the new ones as well as WATF's. They are both great, pretty excited that WATF are working on new music again =]

I was confused, Living Sacrifice is one of the bands were Rocky plays, I know that cause all of this is said in EvanescenceReference all the info in that page is official, even Jhon said that, the lyrics at first were about his "adiction" to Eggo Waffles, check it out if you don't believe, and you have to accept that all the Fallen, Demos and EP's credits are for Amy Ben and in some songs David, and all TOD credits are for Amy and Terry

Why do people think that Jhon and Rocky are former members!? THEY ARE NOT! They entered the band after all Fallen songs were already made, they were hired to play live only! Jhon helped in 2 songs riffs (Taking Over Me & A.T.I.L.F) and Rocky just gave them one song (tourniquet)! This Band We Are The Fallen (W.A.Ben Moody) it's good but it's different than Evanescence, their songs are like Fallen songs (same kind of chords or guitar effects) but they have no originality, and Carly can't sing well

"Official" means it is directly associated with the organization on which it is based. EvThreads and EvRef are fan-operated and EvRef can be edited by ANYONE, just like wikipedia. The entry about Eggo waffles originally read that "An alternate look at the song describes John LeCompt's secret addiction to Eggo waffles :P", meaning that it was a fan's interpretation misrepresented as fact. Until an ACTUAL official source says otherwise, it stands that the "eggo waffles" theory is, in fact, BS.

Listen to this concert ut not the DVD videos, the crowd videos, the ones that were recorded from cellphones, you will see that they fixed Carly's voice and make her sound like she can hit the high notes, she usually can't cause she is always aout of breath, so she just make low notes instead of high notes, cause she can't sing the hard ones, and I never said anything of WATF not helping in their songs, I said that the only former member of Ev in WATF is and will be Ben Moody.

I've done research way more than you, Jhon didnt help not even as much as Ben and Terry did in the composition, also the drums in Fallen weren't even recorded by Rocky, Fallen in "demo version" was already created way before they got officially in the band, on The Open Door most of the drums are synths or boring drums, Will Hunt is a true drummer, way better than Rocky, the same thing with Troy McLawhorn, they both are superior than Jhon and Rocky, and Evanescence is blessed for having them now.

first of all, the only creative minds in Evanescence since the beggining in 1997 were Amy Lee, Ben Moody until 2003, Amy has been the creative one with Terry since then. Jhon and Rocky were only live musicians to play with, they never helped in the composition of the songs, WATF it's worse than Evanescence, their sound its a bad copycat of the original sound in Fallen, Evanescence sounds better than ever, their new album has been on top charts since it was released and their sound is better.
