Ukraine was political on the jury vote they gave the UK 12 points because they love the UK it was one of the major countries involved in the training of troops and the supply of weapons since the annexation of Crimea but unlike some other countries that training hasn’t stopped they continue training troops in new weapons some of which aren’t even integrated in the British military yet and are actually still being tested by the British military. First in the jury vote and second overall! Didn't Nigel Farage say that the UK should withdraw Eurovision because it will never receive a good placing due to politics? I wonder what he's thinking now?

I love how Sam started screaming "we got points" after ukraine gave them 12 points

Considering it was the UK's first 12 points in FIVE YEARS (the last 12 was given to Lucie Jones by Australia in 2017), I wouldn't blame him

I think a few factors played in why Europe voted for us this year 1 : The song was fantastic but also I think the fact we stand with Ukraine on the war in Russia ! I think that sends a clear message to Europe that Britain will never let a European country stand alone.

What a LEGEND!! Not only making us Brits proud in 2022 but then coming back to do another showstopper in 2023. WOW!!!

What happened! I remember the late great Sir Terry saying of Gemini when they did so bad 'Send the gun boat and get them out' well we didn't need the gun boat this year, many congratulations to Sam on a great performance.👽🥰

I will never forget this night. Ever. It felt so beautiful to feel connected to Europe in such a way. The ribbons for Ukraine. The points for Ukraine and the UK. Thank you Sam! Thank you Eurovision and Slava Ukraini

Anyone else using this as fuel to get pumped for the world Cup 😂 after the euros and now this I'm starting to think we aren't total failures

Don't worry, we'll find some way to ruin it all

@@InvisibleTower No I think we have a truly special team right now and were only a penalty away from winning the euros. Southgate is a smart guy, he will learn from this and maybe won’t bring on kids to take pens when they’ve not even had a chance to kick the damn ball yet lol. Maybe Brexit was a good thing after all😬
