Hi, Only found your channel recently. I've had CGMBet for 5 years, maybe longer, but I totally under-use it. Loving your videos, I can only echo what others have already said, the videos are packed with good content and so well produced. I've gained a new interest and will slowly get to know the product again, with the help of your vids, it's too good to ignore. Much appreciate your time and effort.

CGM is a really fantastic tool and I have had it for around 3-4 years and still am amazed at what you can do with it. Thank you for putting the video up but I do find you plough on along pretty quickly and I have to stop it and start it as I run it in my version, and although I can see what you are doing I frequently get lost. I think you work on the basis that the viewers are at a certain level of understanding about the software, but Im wondering if you could somehow scale it back a bit? In strategy 1 you dived straight into the AGS which is not a part I am very good at, so it left me floundering. But besides that I do appreciate what you are doing and how you are trying to provide instructional videos. Maybe start your videos by a disclaimer suggesting people watch video A or B etc before this advanced one ?

Thank you for the feedback. Speed is a tricky one to get right. If I go too slow, people become disinterested and leave. I would suggest pausing and rewinding where necessary as I appreciate there is a lot of information to take in. I would suggest watching other videos on AGS to increase the knowledge. I have a full video dedicated to the sections of AGS I used in this video. Your suggestion about informing viewers which videos to watch in advance is a good one.

Can you elaborate? Which little blue icons? Do you mean the tick boxes where I set the score and minute? If not, could you give the time in the video which you are referring to?

Some nice info and although you have mentioned sample size it's really important to stress the tendency for people to do an analysis and engage in 'curve fitting' where they create fantastic systems based on historic data that will probably not be able to be walked forward into new games. This is a huge issue with analysis of historic data and will be the downfall of 99% of systems. That's one reason I'm asking Mihai to add either a P-score or Chi-sq figure in his software to help guide any analysis. Small sample sizes and curve fitting are the scourge of system creators.
@LessonsInLogicUK
@LessonsInLogicUK 4 ай бұрын
I agree sample sizes are important. Remember these videos are to show what is possible and should not be followed exactly. Once the season settles down I am going to use these strategies on a weekends games in the premier League and see how they perform. This will be a bit of fun and won't be using real money. I say in every video that the strategies aren't for live use so this may emphasise the point or they may do well
@MikeKleinsteuber

@@LessonsInLogicUK Good idea. I'm not certain of the value of 'a bit of fun' cos if people really want to do this they should be reasonably serious about it and showing the realities of risking real hard earned cash is an important lesson. Too many think of gambling as a bit of fun and they lose billions world wide. But each to his own...If there aren't losers around it's harder for us winners lol....
@LessonsInLogicUK

You make a fair point. By a bit of fun, I mean people don't just want to see me pressing buttons and saying "do this, do that". They like to see the results. I won't be placing any real money, just watching the results and working out the profits and losses of my selections. Nobody should follow any of the strategies religiously. I'm not a pro and have no desire to be one. My forte is software and showing what is possible if you put your mind to it. I think I do a good job in that respect, seeing as more established KZbin channels appear to do similar videos a few weeks after mine come out :-)

This is a very good video and you explain it perfectly. However my issue playing with cgmbet past data to fit what we wan, has proven very hard to reproduce into upcoming games. We need to combine this data with inplay data for better results. I have a suggestion that I believe will complete your videos: Using each strategy (filter) it would be good to see it pick the games for the weekend and check the results.
@LessonsInLogicUK
@LessonsInLogicUK 4 ай бұрын
Thank you for the feedback. I have already thought about that and will probably do something once the leagues have settled down. Although these strategies are for training purposes only, they are not what I would call strong strategies. What I'll probably do is take one or 2 of them from the video and use them for a weekend of Premier league football and show the results for that week assuming we had put a virtual £1 on each of the games. Will be a bit of fun and hopefully will give us a bit of virtual profit.
@macor247
@macor247 4 ай бұрын
@@LessonsInLogicUK Yes, that would be perfect and along the season we could try to perfect/adjust the strategy or combine it with another one. I believe it would be a good way to see cgmbet's full potential.

Another top video . THanks..Is any way to see xG or similar stats in CGM ? Can I make for for team in custom colums how many points in AVG team is taking per game ? Thanks

There is a points per game measure in the right hand column but I don't believe it is in custom just yet

I make slow profit on micro stakes. Its a hobby to me. I do less than 1 trade a day on average. I'm never going to make enough to retire. I don't use software other than CGMBet as I don't make enough to warrant the expense. I have a skill though in manipulating complex software and that's what I share with the viewers. You'll get no get rich quick or endorsed strategies from me.
