We have always waited until Black Friday to decorate, but our oldest child moved to college in August, and our youngest, who has really been missing his sister, wanted to decorate early for Christmas. He’s been so sad since our oldest left home so I was willing to do ANYTHING if it might help him. 😞 It’s been a big year for our family. So many changes and new normals. The decorations have helped us all!❤

Those are some big changes! I agree, if decorating makes someone's heart happy, who cares how early in the season you do it! Although I will say, I don't put up the outdoor decor until after thanksgiving haha I'm too shamed by the neighbors to put it out too early! But inside is already a winter wonderland!

I used to not decorate until the weekend following Thanksgiving but the kids kind of talked me in to getting a little earlier than that. Once the grandkids came along (any grandparent will assure you they are perfect & rule the roost 🥰), I started even earlier 💖. Christmas is wonderful & magical & Holy & all the things I love so why not enjoy it more than a couple of weeks with all the work we put in it? Also, I'm getting older & slower so I need PLENTY of time to craft so I'm ready to decorate. All that to say I appreciate you creators putting things out in plenty of time for us. There are a couple I watch that are VERY good but their Holiday videos don't go up until long after crafting is over & decorations are already hung. That always gets me because they have beautiful things. Oh well, just wanted to say THANK YOU 💝.

Thank you for such a lovely comment! Yes I know it seems crazy when I put out Christmas videos so early, but that’s exactly why! I want to make sure people are able to plan out their crafts and get their supplies before they sell out!

I always decorate the day after Halloween! No one is skipping Thanksgiving because I certainly celebrate both! I love having my Thanksgiving meal with my Christmas and holiday decorations already up!

It seems this year is really short between thanksgiving and Christmas. I want to enjoy my decorations. So I’ll be getting ready as soon as I can. As soon Halloween is over the tree goes up and then the decor. 🎄 But next year, as this is my forst year being a vendor, im starting early. Chrostmas in July ill start making my holiday winter crafts.

We’re moving after this holiday season to a new state. So it may be a while before my kids and I are together with grandparents. A new baby is coming somewhere between Thanksgiving and Christmas as well. I am on mission to make this holiday special. In the past we have waited for Black Friday to buy a tree. I would much rather buy one the day before Thanksgiving and decorate it after dinner. Hopefully I will be home and not in the hospital. Anyway our outside decorations always wait until after Thanksgiving. Inside is a different story. Especially elf shenanigans. The only reason we got an elf is because I always got a kick out of the ideas online. When my oldest realizes that it’s actually mommy moving the elf I think the shenanigans will only get better. These diys are great and since I’m basically stuck at home to try reading and hydrating to hold off labor I appreciate the inspirations and can’t wait to see what I can do with what I have left from the previous year.
