I put them under the shirt turned them inside out and put the magnet outside, I used a set for a tough" Survival shoot for 6 days, absolutely as tough as nails , used on guys and girls sweating in 100 F heat clamping it onto their shirts, the were running and doing army workouts and this while going through 2 massive rain storms , the DJI's absolutely did their jobs , not breaking down and not coming loose at all , quite remarkable

@@Enoc63 Really GREAT SOUND! I've tried them without the DeadCat muffs, and didn't have wind noise. Taken on a 90 minute bike ride on a riparian trail. I picked up quite a lot of background noise, but had them at mid-chest level, attached to my badge holder, but tomorrow I'll try them on my helmet, and see if I can get rid of the BIKE noise that way. I also ran a distance test, and found them much better than the Rode Wireless Go II, but they're still subject to the typical dropout for anything on microwave frequencies where the signal is ABSORBED/BLOCKED by your body or structures. That's expected. You just have to have a clear path between transmitter and receiver. That means PLAN AHEAD.

I've seen other creators mention the weakness of the plastic clip that mounts onto a cold shoe. It could break if you force it too hard and it will possibly wear over time. One even suggested DJI replace it with an aluminum one. I considered that as well, but maybe this is one of those situations where you want it to break rather than to damage the shoe. My guess is DJI will rather supply more cheap plastic clips than to improve them, as the shoe is something you don't want to wear down over time.

Great video! We use the Rode 2’s. But we often need more than 2 mics for toasts at a wedding reception. Thinking about DJI’s on another camera. Can you record from the transmitter and wireless to your camera at the same time? Also this would go into pockets, is it easy to stop recording on the unit ? No hold button.

Yes you can do both at once. Although he says the backup track is -6db. Don't think that's true unless you set it to Mono(S) mode. Also, a bonus is the new firmware update that allows you to lock the record button on the transmitter so talent can't accidentally stop recording. Truly excellent device.

Great video. I have the Rode wireless Go 2 and I hate the Rode central to get files off. In fact I was just on a trip and the Rode central just wouldn't see the transmitter only the receiver. Which meant I couldn't get the files off the transmitter. However I have the Pocket 2 which has a wireless mic. and the wind dead cta is just a bayonet style and weak magnet which means it just falls off ) Glad to see they have changed to the "twist" type.!! They have great sound. Gonna switch from the Rode to these. Also The Rode causes a humming interference with my Sony A7S3 . Rode blames the Sony and vise versa. Anyone said they have had any interference ( humming ) from the DJI to Sony A7S3 ?? Cheers

if you connect the transmitter to your camera/phone, the audio will be baked into the video recording. If you need the audio to be separate, you can record your audio straight into the transmitter and transfer the audio files over to your computer/mac. It will work just as an external hard drive.

There's great videos out about which lavs work best with this kit. They recommend Shure MVL mic. Some mics they tested had interference issues (including the Rode lav) but not the Shure lav. I have it and it's EQ boosts the highs, but it works great and adding a touch of mids/lows in post solves everything. Love this kit. New firmware added awesome new features last week too!

I am planning on buying the dji wireless mic together with the countryman b3 lavalier. I have heard a sound test of the countryman b3 lavalier plugged into the rode wirelss go 2 and was fascinated by the sound quality. In other reviews of the dji mic together with different lavaliers they mentioned some problems with interference.
