I love this band. If you like them you would probably also like Love-cars and Halloween Alaska.

@@patrickmooney-ys6zd oh i’m a huge fan of 12rods i just saw them live. i’ve heard some love cars, they’re pretty good, 12rods bassist matt foust was apart love cars. halloween alaska on the other hand consisted of members ev olcott, dave king, and bill shaw, all members from 12 rods throughout the years. the original drummer christopher mcguire has a very well known reputation up in minnesota, he’s played in bands like the mountain goats, kid dakota, and japanese rock band quruli

I saw the mountain goats about 3 weeks ago, my 5th time seeing them. They are fantastic live. I also love The Blue Nile, silversun pickups, car seat headrest, red house painters, sun kil moon, American Music Club. My favourite band of all time has to be The Psychedelic Furs, they are amazing live and their latest album Made Of Rain is a masterpiece.
