This. In my early 20s I had a 2 year crush on a gym acquaintance. I just wanted to believe that every little comment or interaction or gesture was evidence that he had some interest. But looking back now, it's soooo painfully obvious and I cringe a bit for not being able to see it from an outsider's view. He was always friendly with me, even giving compliments or small touches, but never initiated plans and would politely turn down any invites I made. He always was the first one to stop replying in random text bursts we had. After my crush ended, a big thing I told myself was a quality I want in a guy is someone who really wants me too. Travis is such a sweetheart. I can’t believe that a person with that big of a heart and emotional depth would think they are a sociopath. You can tell he’s a person that feels a lot and loves big. Even in a sterilized environment as this one his sweet personality and tremendous care for people shine through. I think that having the looks that he has while also living in LA can lead to his real self being overlooked or people having misconceptions about him. But he’s a true gem, and his quality of character shows a lot even in the first minutes of getting to know him. And in his conversation with Emma, reassuring her that she doesn’t have to share anything too vulnerable but also being willing to be so open and honest about his life are signs of a kind hearted person that’s also a healthy communicator. I really really like him and respect him a lot. He deserves all the happiness.💗💗
