Amen. To me. If you need a house. Get reasonably priced. Have your own survey man. And a personal plumber and electrician with you. And a contractor that knows all about the foundation of the house. Those guys do side work on there days off. They need the money. Talk to neighbors and ask if the neighborhood is safe crom crime. And a quiet neighborhood to. Also how is the average cost on there utilities. You can save half the cost from calling companies for these services. Buy the house for sale by owner then negotiate. The cost for a realtor is 6 percent. Also all you need tp d o is meet the owner at the realtors office to just draw up the sale papers. Pay them only 3 percent or maybe a little less. You save a lot of money doing the for sale by owner and getting your own crew. My aunt was in realestate for ten yrs. Then take the other part of the money buy only what you need. If a car is needed buy the best one of value longest lasting most maint. Free free vehicle on the road. Also the most reliable most trusted. The vehicle will last ten yrs. Anyway. Get good gas mileage to. Then buy some furniture . dont need a lot. To much house cleaning. Get the house just the right size. Buy it for life. As much trouble free as possible. Get a good price and buy your own appliances. And a.c. unit and hot water heater etc. Its worth it. Then go out to eat the best food to eat. Take a small vacation for 2 weeks. Then save the other half of the money in the bank to get the most best interest rate on the best acvounts available. Banks know. Also take half of the remaining and go to a credit union and get there beal to. Then live on just the great interest you get in all your accts. You will save your job or soc. Sec. Checks monthly. Use that for a emergency fund for house repairs and a new roof. Get the best roof. Get the house painted inside and outside. Painters will give you a good deal for both. Do get estimates. Best price wins. Relax take it easy. Do see how this information works. And you will be happy to see your one million dollars was used wisely. So in otherwords you spend half and save half. You will be glad you did. Do this idea for yourself. You will be glad you did. Your family will get whsts left after you pass away. They will take the money and blow it til there broke. Happens in every family. If no family donate the monies for the poor people and your estate to be devided for the poor. Get a will made. You will be blessed. This would be my dream thing to do..exactly. Sure wish i had a million dollars. And to be debt free for life. Also paying cash for everything. To always buy only what you need. Amazing. May god bless. Pray and thank jesus for what he did on the cross for us and be grateful for what we have today. And to have the gift from god of the one million dollars. He makes all things posdible. Thank you all .

One of the main things I see that keep people poor is having a kid too young. They are just never quite able to crawl out of the extra expense & limitations that having that kid brings on. If I were to give a young person advice about how to get ahead it would certainly include not having that child before you can afford to.

Making money is all about learning how to multiply it. Spend less than you earn and make the excess work for you. It will add up. I started with $850 saved. Today, it has multiplied to $400 000. $50.000 student loan paid off, $ 90.000 to renovations, $60.000 for tithes...the list is long. But it works; move slowly and ADD UP. $5 +$5=10+10=20... don't despise small amounts.

Bad habits help keep the poor, poor. For example, when I was in the military, most of the poorer sailors had expensive boom boxes, drank away their pay and traveled to the pawn shop to hock goods to make ends meet.
@danielmalinen6337
@danielmalinen6337 7 ай бұрын
@@frankt1720A poor person and a spendthrift person are two different things. If you have money to spend, you're not poor, if you don't have money to spend, you're poor. For example, in extreme cases, spendthrifts claim to be poor because they used all their money to buy a house, while a homeless person lives on the street because they has no money to pay even the cheapest rent in the area.

In Finland, we organize monthly seminars for unemployed, homeless and other poor people where they are taught about investing, business operations and how to become financially independent. But the results have been meager and ineffective. In addition, the target group complains that their money is not enough for everyday living, which is why they don't have the financial capacity to release extra money for investing or running a business.

if you started investing in a quality mutual fund, think 12% return, when you turn 18, and invest say $50 per month, by the time you turn 67 (normal retirement age) you will have accrued over $1.7 million. It's true about "shopping around". It's fine if you don't value your time or you find it an enjoyable experience but the market usually prices things fairly equally. I think most people develop a sixth sense when they are being ripped off.

I did it with my 20-24K a year grocery job, dropshipping with shopify, affiliate marketing, working for Lyft, Shipt, Instacart, and Postmates. I started my own advertising agency, then got into the stock market. You can check out my youtube channel where I show how I make an average of $1,667 a day average.

I calculated how much I would need, at the age of fifty, to be comfortable, have $50,000 per year, reinvesting any left over, pay bills, land Taxes, Ambulance, Health, Insurances etc.. for an average life style, dying at 80-90 years old, would be over $4 million without investment dividends. I plan to live into my 120’s so.....save what you can and adjust your thinking about how money works for you constantly. Concentrate on the future life you want for yourself. Everything changes, so stay current with your thinking.

If you have money to spend, you're not poor, if you don't have money to spend, you're poor. A spendthrifts spend their money on, for example, houses, cars, cafes, exercises, vacations and other high expenses and claim to be poor when they are not, while the truly poor struggle with everyday costs such as electricity, water, rent, clothes, hygiene and food. Sure, a person who is truly poor can "save" by, for example, living on the street and fasting without food, but it takes a toll on health and will become more expensive in the longer term.
