I am not very much into beaches because i stay in an island. I have visited langkawi, pulau pangkor, tunku abdul rahman park (sabah) for beach activities. So, now i am more into what other places can offer which i cannot see in my hometown or country. Volcano lake, waterfall restaurant, rice terrace, ace water theraphy, rafting at waterfalls, sunset dinner cruise, philippine palace i have seen been before.

Sithija Dodangoda In fairness Sri Lanka has So many beautiful places to visit that it would be hard to make a list under 50. Not only one of the most beautiful places on earth, but the food is great and the people are wonderful! I took a friend recently who I had been telling to visit for years and he loved it and said it was the best seafood he had ever eaten. For me my personal favourite is Ella. Visit Sri Lanka 2019, you will fall in love with it!

I first visited Unawatuna almost 20 years ago when it was just a tiny village with just a few small bamboo shacks on the beach. I went back 2 years ago and didnt recognise the place! The same with Mirissa and that was just a few years later I returned. But they certainly are beautiful beaches, I like Mirissa because you can see Blue Whales just a few miles off the coast! I went to Hikkaduwa 2 years ago and really liked it, I think it was getting to swim every day with giant turtles! For me SL has everything stunning scenery, loads of wildlife, great beaches, wonderful food and some of the nicest people in the world. For anyone who is thinking of going...stop thinking and GO!!!!!
