I have the same problem with VL90Pro. Sometimes it is worse than other times. I placed some heavier things on top of the hatch doors and it seems to help. I may push to get a replacement like you did. thanks for sharing that. I'm mostly using mine as a back up fridge/freezer kept in my garage but do plan to use outside some of the time.

This condensation problem has been shown also on the Vancity Vanlife guy chanel with the OLDER model with latches ... looks like they never actually adressed the problem once and for all !

ICECO/Indel B are the best value for the dollar out there. National Luna and ARB which are much more expensive have the same Danfoss/Seacop compressor. I do believe the newer Dometic cfx3 range compressors are better. And the Engel Sawafuji is better as well. The Sawafuji has a huge reputation for reliability. So doe's the Danfoss/Seacop. The Dometic hasn't been out as long. But Volvo trucks uses Dometic refrigerators with the VMOSO3 compressor same as the cfx3 line and we have 50 2018 to 2021 Volvo trucks with them. And we've only replaced one. And it cools way faster. I've been a truck driver for 15 years. Have had a lot of OEM truck fridges. And almost all except for three had a Danfoss in it. The biggest killer of a truck fridge is dirt. Those Danfoss/Seacop compressors will last if you take care of them and keep the dirt and grime out. I owned a cfx 40 with a Danfoss/Seacop compressor and it's 8 years old. Still works. I sold it to a lady two years ago and she's still using it. And it's ran it's butt off as a freezer it's whole life. In my truck I have 3 Dometics. The Oem truck fridge. A CFX3 55IM. And now a CFX3 25. A driver bought the CFX3 25 for his truck. It wouldn't carry as much as he wanted. So after we talked he bought a Iceco VL45pro. And traded me the CFX3 25 for a Jackery 500 and panel. He's had his Iceco for two months and loves it.

I called about mine overheating and not cooling either compartment lately, as well as flipping which section it was freezing which has cost me some groceries after it froze the wrong side and let my frozen foods thaw on two different occasions, and some idiot at customer service told me to clean the vents and ensure that the vents have more than 2 inches of clearance, neither of which being the issue as I told him, but he insisted that would somehow solve my problems. I spent a freakin' grand on this stupid thing, had it literally JUST over a year, and been actually using it for less than a year, and that's the best "customer service" they could offer? I'm disgusted with IceCo right now. I even mentioned that a friend had told me about the coils issue and he denied this was a real thing, so now I'm seeing this vid as proof that the guy was flat out lying to me.

JUST LEAVE BOTH IN REFRIGERATOR MODE, NO NEED TO HAVE FREEZER MODE..YOUR FOOD WON'T ROT IF YOU LEAVE BOTH IN FRIG MODE, THE GROUND TURKEY FOR EXAMPLE WILL STILL REMAIN FRESH LIKE THAT, TOO MUCH HASSLE IN FREEZER MODE AND CONSUMES TOO MUCH POWER AS WELL
