Do you still like it ? I just ordered one hope im happy with it my Honda Element

I do love it still. In the end, it only helps and definitely cannot make you any less comfortable. Any little cooling in a tough hot situation can be a huge difference. Hope it works out, my friend.

guess see is believing i would have to see it work here in phx in my van in the summer at atleast 110f outside temp
@Squirrel-Master8 жыл бұрын
I felt the same way. My Uncle talked me into it and im stoked he did. I now wonder how I lived in my Van without it. With 110 degree temps in AZ and no humidity, you could be getting 80 degree cool air blowing in your face, without question. The less humidity, the more effective. I tried it in 96 degree hot weather and 30% humidity and it made it much more livable still with the humidity working against it. Again, it may not blow your mind but it can prevent you from revolving your van trips around 70 degree weather. Good luck, buddy! I will put up a video showing actual temps and with the flex line hoses and air intake unit. This video was more of a rough run.

Can I ask if you stay in humid areas?
@Squirrel-Master8 жыл бұрын
I haven't tested it in much humidity, but it should definitely cut the performance down to 10-20 degree temps cooler rather than 20-30. I will update you as I get a chance in a humid environment. Ive tested it in a little humidity and it wasn't bad at all.

I think it would work better how you have it, it will draw cold air & make it cooler.
@Squirrel-Master2 жыл бұрын
I have the air intake. It absolutely is necessary to use when in true heat situations. Suck the cold air in and blow the warm out. Cheers!
@Mroswaldo162 жыл бұрын
@@Squirrel-Master so it also blows hit air from the motor or something? I know it sucks aire & blows it out fresher..

those of us who live in az call those swamp coolers
@Squirrel-Master8 жыл бұрын
I am from AZ myself. Essentially, yes it is a swamp cooler. It is far more effective than the swamp coolers I have seen before. The concept of water evaporation is essentially the same. I am super impressed so far.

those dont work well here in phx 115f ice would last 30 min lol it may cool ur face thow but not a room or my van for example
@Squirrel-Master8 жыл бұрын
You're thinking of the MK4 model, which does require a TON of ice. The K2 model (half the cost) is what the owner suggested for Van travelers. Requires JUST water and is super effective even in AZ. The ice model is more for FBI or Police surveillance. There is nothing convenient about using 100 gallons of ice daily. I can use 100 degree water and get 20-30 degree cooler temps. I was a huge skeptic but am now a believer.
@Squirrel-Master8 жыл бұрын
Correct, it will not cool an entire Van and is not sold as such. If you buy the flex line hose kit, you can target where the A/C blows. I havent installed them yet and it still works wonders. It works super well when laying in the back watching a DVD or something because you can station it on the table directly in front of you.

this product is crap in Florida doesn't do anything but help grow mold
@Squirrel-Master7 жыл бұрын
Riens Overu I busted mine out in Florida just last week and it worked well (temperature-wise). Theres not a lot you can do to fight that humidity though. Does it help grow Mold? Now that you mention it, I have some black mold building up on my roof and rapidly advancing. I figured it was just this terrible humidity. This is my first time visit the Southeast and man, I sure do miss the west. The humidity and the bugs are terrible.

for that kind of money i would rather just dunk my shirt in water and use my fan
@Squirrel-Master8 жыл бұрын
I was lucky enough to have been gifted the unit, otherwise I would have also resisted. I also have a 12V fan and use the water dunk method. To be honest, staying away from 100 degree weather is just the real answer for avoiding the heat when living in my Van. Cheers to staying cool!
