Thank you for honesty letting some who may not know the positive things, i was very much attracted into the jw because of the high morals the fact it is not just morals for sunday standards, it was wonderful morals values at all,times. However too much extreme control which the extremes crushed the spirit put too much pressure on us to be near prefect. Wasnt attainable never feeling you doing enough. Lots of the positives now out with own perspectives can be more relax less pressure, lots to process still. Alot of hurt, suppressed emotions coming to surface, thankyou for being honest, we wouldnt have stayed if we didnt believe we could help ourself and others to free from badness of the world, we just wanted to be nice honest people doing whats morally right, putting others ahead of ourself, but then we lost sight of our own needs. Its a process still, so hard to pick up the pieces left, moving on with all years wasted. Trying to stay positive, looking at transfer able skills was good what you said, also we have resilience.

I apologize, but i stil love u and from my perspective jehovah does to ,remember the israelites they left him over and over but when they called on him he answered them, like jonah if something did happen hopefully u would call on jehovah im sure he would answer ,just because we r disfellowshiped or disassociated does not mean the friends don't care about us ,i was rushing from work to get to my meeting and i did not put my coat collar down and an elder saw it and did it for me , it was probably his way to say we do care about u or lets say awitness saw u on road with flat tire beng woman im sure they probably would help u ,any way thats my perspective as u know when u r disfellowshiped u have no one to talk to but jehovah its hard especially when u r single and no one else like me, anyway love u and apologize if i ofended u

I appreciate where you're coming from and what you're trying to do, because I would have done the same before. The difference between us now is you're disfellowshipped, but you still very much believe and will most likely return. Me on the other hand, left of my own accord because I was so unhappy and now I don't believe it and definitely won't be returning. I've not taken any offense by what you've said, I just want you highlight our different stances. It's all good though, I appreciate your contribution to the discussion

Lawrence when you use the word ‘probably’ then it means you have no solid proof of what you’re saying. Love is shown through action. When you purposefully walk away and ignore someone because they’ve chosen not participate in your religion anymore, how is that showing love? Then when they are in need, they will find her? You see how hypocritical your group is?

The elder helped you with your coat because you are willing to go back to them. This lady on the other hand, if they see her suffering (God forbid it), they will ignore her and rather go stand at the front and tell the congregation that God is punishing her. That’s how cruel your group is and in fact all cults are like this. When you leave and are certain you’re not coming back, they start hoping and even praying that something bad happens to you so they can use you as a ‘warning’ and laughingstock to the rest. But Lord is great and He will never let people’s evil and wicked wishes come to pass. God is faithful. Press on Miss Charley.

I did not hear u say u prayed to jehovah and he answered your prayer after 30 years,you never felt him acting in your behalf, yes I'm disfellowshiped but jehovah is showing me he is stil with me its just a form of discipline does not mean he does not love u, I'm not putting u down u stil my sister I love u I pray that jehovah will help u with his spirit or power to overcome any mental issues as u said u may be dealing with and I'm hear for u if u need to talk to someone ex elder and pioneer, any way I'm sure u see the world around us going crazy and more dangerous ask your who will protect u I'm sure u know we can't depend on men ,jehovah s people out every day in the most dangerous areas on earth fearlessly preaching who is protecting them I will leave with that thought -love u

Sadly, your response is the typical JW response. And by that I’m not trying to be offensive I mean, you’re listening to respond not to understand. If you’ve watched ANY of my videos, you’ll have seen that 1. I don’t believe in god anymore, so it won’t mean much to me saying Jehovah loves me. 2. Any mental health issues I experienced before was only because I was so unhappy being a witness or as a residual effect from being part of it In fact, you’ll find a large portion of current JWs suffer with some sort of mental health issue such as anxiety or depression. Why? That’s a question that should be explored. 3. Please explain to me how people of other faiths, and even people who are not religious such as myself experience protection, love and happiness? Because love and protection certainly isn’t unique to the JWs. 4. I don’t see the world through the same lens as you do anymore. I don’t see doom, gloom and tragedy everywhere. Perception is reality and I choose to see good things in the world that bring me joy and inner peace. Perhaps if you didn’t see things through the restrictive narrow lens that the organisation does, you would too. In no way am I attacking you, I’m just trying to help you understand my personal perspective. It may not seem possible to you all, that a person can leave the organisation to be happy, but it is definitely the case.

How is her entire family and friends pretty much abandoning her a form of discipline? How? I’ve seen people leave Baptist for Presbyterian for e.g. but their family and friends don’t abandon them. If someone chooses not to go to a particular church anymore, isn’t it their choice? Are you God to think you should discipline her? Please stop it. Your organisation is out of order and has been for a long time and clearly the whole world has now seen through your lies and that’s why it falling apart. Almost every month, there’s you’re in the news for being exposed. Go figure.
